  1. Lambert declined the opportunity to be on the list! If you read his tweets today he might not even bother with UK, big ego that boy! As for Matt Ford, think you'll find he's keen on a young Aussie becoming British! A great business brain a bit like Karen Brady, depends if he skurtz round the rules!
  2. So if the terms are right and the Elite League expands to 12 teams in 2014 then Uncle Len wants Rye House to join Ipswich and Leicester in the top flight! No it's not April 1st!
  3. So as expected Middlo has quit as team manager, two people in frame to replace him, current deputy Morris or Gary Havelock.
  4. Ha ha, unfortunately you are barking up the wrong tree Dickie boy, pleased that I am not GD - having to be associated with mavericks like your brother and UKM would send me grey & bald!
  5. Can't help himself it seems! Remember he got sacked by BSI after playing "the winker song" as Nicki Pedersen walked off the track at Cardiff, he has got the chop from Coventry as well this week. I wonder if Phillips will stand by him after this, that's if the BSPA don't extend his suspension further of course! Seems the self proclaimed music man of speedway, has well and truly shot himself in the foot!
  6. The guy playing the music on Tuesday night had nothing to do with Birmingham Speedway? You 100% sure on that GA? Must have been an imposter posing as someone with a very close connection to the club.
  7. Someone had to seeing co-promoter, captain and team manager decided to give it a miss!
  8. The facts last time are the same as this time, it doesn't matter if there was 1 visitor or 100'000 the ridiculous amount of script that the Brum webmaster uses causes all the issues, nothing to do with the hosting company, the BSPA, it's media partners or anyone else you care to blame! Think of all the hassle it would have saved your brother if he only he'd done his homework!
  9. The reason the Poole website is also slow to load is because the Birmingham website is so badly coded and this is causing other scripts to struggle to load across the whole server. Birmingham's webmaster and promotion have been fully aware of this for several weeks, but their webmaster has done next to nothing to correct it, whilst his pals have decided to take to social media to abuse individuals for taking down the site for a more than legit reason, I'm sure that the webmaster will be on here admitting all in due course and his pals will be offer their apologies to those they lambasted!
  10. No doubt UK Martin and his mouth pieces will be lording it up with Mayor, putting the blame squarely on the shoulders of others for yet another sorry episode with the Brummies website, when the truth of the matter is, that his own technical (in)abilities are the root cause of this and previous problems.
  11. Brummies sent me a link entitled tickets and refunds - page still trying to download after 5 minutes! Anyone having problems accessing the Brummies site? I'd thought have UK Martin would have solved the scripting issues by now.
  12. I've heard that the track ISN'T covered! Still with all the hot air that some people at club produce. They could dry the track in no time.
  13. I just get default parallels panel page when I go to homepage on iPad. O dear looks like another Technical gaff from the Brummie's Webmaster. #Amateur
  14. The full facts will come out in time and egg will be on the face of certain loudmouthed people. The abuse that Povey has and is receiving is a disgrace!
  15. That's for the clarification Jock, pleased to hear the scripting of the source code of the website, is of good enough quality that it wouldn't cause major problems with bandwidth when traffic to the site increases.
  16. So just to clarify then, there aren't any technical problem at all with the Birmingham website, that could cause a major problem on the hosting server which means that a number of other clubs sites couldn't be accessed when increased volume of traffic to the Brum site occurs and that the Birmingham webmaster hasn't been made of aware of the issues several times in the past and failed to solve the problem?
  17. Obviously this Polish website is bit like your Brummie one Martin, not up to date with things! As the OFFICIAL webmaster of Birmingham Speedway you've posted some very interesting thoughts about CVS and Peter Adams in the last 48 hours! No sign of any apology for your wrong assumptions then?
  18. All very nice look and feel to the website! But I wonder if the content will be as smart - re-hashing offIcal stuff and trawling through social media for stories might appeal to some. But I wouldn't risk paying £20 upfront as I am not convinced it will get to edition 2 let alone 4.
  19. Can't say I am shocked or surprised by Darcy's actions. However I am staggered that Middleditch said that to the press. I would suggest his promoter very quickly distances himself from that viewpoint. Surely Middleditch's future as Team GB boss is in the balance as well?
  20. Not over worried Deano. Though Drury or his team manager aren't the problem. They are well respected by all riders, that's why they've signed. Other people at club the problem!
  21. I see the Birmingham website has been offline all day and apparently not coming back in its current guise! Latest of strange happens at Perry Barr, press officer quits, suppliers not happy with deals being changed! Hearing that a certain person at club is upsetting a lot of loyal hardworking people Sounds like promotion need a to a grip and fast, especially as riders and management becoming hacked off with attitude towards them by aforementioned.
  22. Peterborough's 1-7 done and dusted in the bag Bjerre Sundstrom Fisher Larsen Koiscluch Lawson Hougarrd So why are they playing petty games over there assets?
  23. You misread those tealeaves fella, Eddie boy is Blunsdon bound. Doyley off to the Midlands! Might be right about Magic though ;-)
