The nightmare that Rob Grant found himself in is extremely unfortunate. What is also unfortunate is the people who think that they can post on his behalf. If Rob has ok’d that then fine, it’s his business to destroy. I would like to think that he would be mortified. slagging on social media officially or by proxy is not the way to go. The past cannot be changed.

Bloke is box office and every promoter in this country would have him in their lineup no question if they could afford him. 100% of the fans would have him also if he was on their team. He’s only a pariah if you don’t have him.....

Press release, like newspapers and radio like in the old days, ffs life existed before electronics.

Media side of the promotion is shocking, I have said that before. Press releases are put on Facebook and third parties post the contents here. The website is not used? The website started off promising but is now crap with dead links etc. I would put my life on the line and say the vast majority of the fan base of the club do not use Facebook or read here. The promotion of the club is rubbishe.

An announcement that Henderson insurance is a sponsor again in the current climate would be a massive positive. Without sponsorship then maybe no speedway.

Same as now, everyone is at home, just in the 70’s they were all on strike.

Under declaring crowds, not declaring correct vat etc etc, I’m sure the promoters were not as bad off as they made out.

I think it could be better worded, they obviously don’t have contactless facilities. Maybe the machine they have is only keypad and they don’t want anyone touching it. But anyway the advice in the UK is to use contactless payment whenever possible.
