hi if you look on the newcastle speedway history site in the defunct track section i have some old photos and programmes on there. pics might give you some idea of the size and scale of the track...think it was around 200mtrs. a lap...

you must have known what the teams were before you went so dont go simple...you sound like the type that if it was free to get in you would still complain.....get a life.

well i think its a brilliant idea!! new track excellent stadium going of the photos and before all the wingers come on about home track advantage etc. the home side if they are in it will have to be on their toes because every team thats in it will be flat out to win. looking forward to my visit now and its still a couple of months away. just hope they can cope with the crowds i think this meeting will attract a record crowd as the crowd last year at the eoes was good..and yes you will probably have to pay an extra £1 for a seat!!
