Simple, Speedway should be a £10 sport all over the uk if it is to survive, Dont workington race on the same nights as the lions ? so whats the incentive as i am sure season ticket holders will be watching there team at home every week. Again the promotors are not looking at bringing back old fans or attracting new ones by making speedway affordable in tough times, so what leicester have said is a load of tosh and not worth the time and effort it took to put it out

Leicester Speedway have signed up to an added value initiative launched by Workington for season ticket holders. Lions fans who may be visiting in the Lake District can gain entrance to Derwent Park on race-nights on production of their Leicester Speedway season ticket for a reduced rate of £10 for any match during the season except when Leicester are racing against the Comets or a BSPA shared event. A reciprocal arrangement for Comets fans who may be in the area when a meeting is scheduled at Beaumont Park will also be honoured. “In today’s economic climate where people’s disposable income is stretched this scheme is a step in the right direction and hopefully we may see some neutrals coming along to watch a speedway match that they may otherwise have given a miss” said the Lions Co-promoter, Alan Jones. I will explain as i guess it hards for you too understand,but I know a number of people who got hit with shale last season who were hurt, does it not matter if shale hits a poor dog then also the noise of the bikes and airhorns can effect dogs the same as fireworks can, so really its not a place for a dog.

This is a one off as i have too sadly agree with you,its not a place to take a dog, I am a big animal lover but feel that all tracks should ban them for the dogs safety.

You will find on here the certain so called leicester fans neb & mrcts wanting leicester fans to go to coventry and support them simply because they dont agree with your points but your right every club needs as much support as possible and i think it will be a tough year for the sport and thats why its so important leicester speedway gets it right this year.

Like i said i dont go to speedway to listen to the center green chit chat, i go for the racing,so to be honest i wouldnt care if anyone was in the middle but if these guys are doing it for the love of leicester speedway how can lions fan knock them.

you really make me laugh,I have forgot more about speedway than you will ever know and i would never insult people like you do constantly,but i guess alot of people can see you for what you are neb. If you keep wanting lions fans who are not in your group of happy clappers to leave and go and support coventry, then do you really think leicester speedway would survive with the amount of fans that have already walked away from BP, Speedway honestly wouldnt last a season with you running it, but keep up the funny comments and maybe i will see you at BP

So i have a mental disorder and also OCD and you do what for a job to diagnose this ? I have every right to make my opinion and every right to have my doubts on whether the track will be changed and to discuss what the promotion are doing to safe gaurd leicester speedway on an open forum. Lets face it alot of people dont know speedway is back in leicester yet,also lots of hardcore fans have walked away from BP,so how are the promotion going to get them back? You and mrcts think its all rosey up there and speedway is safe, not so true as you would like to think, if they dont get it right this season more fans will move on to other things and speedway will be gone.Fact The main product is the track and it should of been done months ago and then tried,tested and then promoted as the new and improved race track in the hope new fans would take a look and old fans would give it another go,its abit late a couple weeks before the start of the season i feel to get people interested and also the lions team set up on there new home track. I have to say it is very sad when a few people on this forum use serious medical conditions that people & there families suffer with on a daily basis as a way of bullying and abusing people on a free speech forum.

I take it you are really stupid by your silly offensive reply, of course it bothers me and other sensible lions fans about the running of the club and its future. Would you put money into buying a season ticket if you are unsure if the track will be changed, I know several people who bought season tickets last season early on as they were told the track would be changed, it was never changed. You have to question why the promotion are waiting this long and have not changed it earlier to there advantages. If you disagree with what i say then say so but dont use mental illness as a silly dig,I gladly dont have a mental illness but i have seen people who do and really struggle, its very immature to accuse someone of being mentally ill.

Wasnt the track being changed last winter but didnt happen? Why leave it till a few weeks before the season,is this the way to get fans to buy early season tickets or for future sponsors to invest not knowing if it will happen,again this is why speedway is in a mess, bad management decisions.

Do you believe 100% you will get the track shape right and encourage the hundreds of fans who walked away to return again
