Your right it's up to the fans if they want to give money but I just think it was bang out of order to even ask fans to pay for his wife's airfare to another country.

Why has both peter & Patrick up & gone from Leicester? Time to bring young bjerre back -
So are the British soldiers wife's & children but they get on with it. Fisher should feel ashamed taking that money.
-
You would happily accept anything gem, people like you are why the sport is dying. I hear ryan fisher wants another collection to fly other family members on holiday, get your bucket ready gem,Only in Speedway lol
-
It's not about giving or not giving it's wrong to ask fans in the first place to pay for a riders wife & kids to fly to another country, If fisher did Not ask for a collection then he needs to do the right thing and hand over the money to the riders ben fund.
-
What about the real heroes who fight for Our country, they risk there life's to make ours safer, they are away from there families for months on end but get on with it. There families stay at home, kids go to school & daddy or mummy return when there stint abroad ends. I think it's made the sport look a joke,it's embarrassing that a person who gets 3 pay packets from 3 teams plus his own business is happy to take money off supporters to pay airfares for his family to travel to another country. I think it was wrong to do it and I am not alone.

If a rider is badly injured I have no problem chucking £20 in a bucket but when I hear a rider begging for a new engine or money to repair his bike or van it's wrong to ask supporters IMHO as they should of got enough sponsors during the winter. As for the ryan fisher collection wanting British fans to dig deep to pay for his wife and kids to fly to Poland to live I am gobsmacked, the guy is earning a good wage, whatever the circumstances fans should not be asked to dig deep for this it's wrong and wouldn't happen in any other work place. I think riders begging needs to stop and promotors need to crack down on it.

there will be another collection next week to help the young Aussie lads fly there families over What about the soldiers fighting for our country away from there families for months.
-
I am and would happily put £20 in for a badly injured rider but I find it insulting to ask speedway fans to dig deep to pay for a riders family to fly to Poland. Are some speedway fans that gullible
-
I think people have lost the plot, they want British fans to pay for 2 Americans to fly to Poland to live ? Why doesn't fish pay for them to come over, I am not being heartless just getting bored of the amount of riders keep bringing out the begging bucket lately.

Coventry Bees V Leicester Lions 18/4/14

done as he was told you mean,it was so blatant what was going on,I felt for auty, don't think barker did very well that day either. Will he make it from Ipswich on Good Friday very doubtful and also could be potentially very dangerous trying. -

They will hold the meeting up for him like they did barker a few seasons ago. -
Benefit meeting for a millionaire ? The guy is a real legend of speedway history and this illness is terrible maybe a collection around the tracks for the Alzheimer's charity in the name of Ivan would be better and something fans would happily support.

Will lakeside get there point back from the bspa as they clearly feel robbed by Adams exclusion ?

Easy win for the bees at Brandon and a close win for the bees at BP -
So who informed the referee to say Adam was not fit to race ? Did he Not know this before he went onto the track? If he was fit then why did nobody hold the meeting up to complain as it cost Adam & the team ?
-
I have heard from 2 people today that the lad couldn't lift his arm up and that's why the paramedic said No however if this IS the case what was the lakeside management doing allowing him onto the track to risk danger to other riders, track staff & spectators if is mobility was that bad? I think there needs to be official clarification on what went on. Glad both riders were ok as it was a nasty crash.
-
I wonder if the paramedic/ref took the van keys off him so he didn't drive home ? The way this country is going maybe this will be a common thing in speedway with every crash that the rider will then be stopped from carrying on as a precaution ?
-
So your telling me if a rider came off a few feet away from you and the exhaust was burning his leg and he was yelling you would stand still and wait till the ref put on the red lights ? I know for sure I wouldn't wait. I also think some paramedics take an age to get to a fallen rider. I know your knowledge of the sport is limited but rules in speedway are regularly broken.
-
I know your not very bright but have you ever heard of people using common sense ? Had the track man been paying attention he would of used his common sense and helped the rider and bike safely onto the centre green. The red lights came on very late and could of caused another accident. No one has mentioned the idiots last night using cameras knowing it's dangerous
-
if it was that grippy then why wasn't there any overtaking ? I have seen speedway for far too many years to know that was Not grippy last night, the shape is and always will be the problem for most riders. The problem is if people don't see racing with overtaking they will go elsewhere, the novelty of going into the EL has clearly gone, there were plenty of spaces by the fence to stand last night. Leicester is gate and win 99% of the time, that's Not speedway.
-
I thought it had to be a doctor to have the final say After fully checking over the rider not a paramedic ? Also When Bridger crashed why didn't track staff help him get his bike off the track.
-
I was stunned when the lad went to the start & the red lights went on,that was bad refereeing and lakeside are right to complain. Not sure how a paramedic can stop you racing, they can only advice you,was a doctor not there yesterday ? Thought the track was shocking again,no grip. Pleased the lions got there first win
-
Weather is cold & gone very grey now, hope there's no rain over BP,should be a home win.

Is it on bet365 ?
