I have heard strong views from someone who gave there time to help and they were not happy with lack of changes and what was said by DH. Also its as if people are scared to speak out in public, when its face to face people say how they feel about there disapointment with the track. Your right about the can of worms mick

I think glyn said on the radio last night that the 3rd and 4th bend has made no difference with the few feet taken in, 6 million pound stadium that is a real cracker I cant stop laughing -

I must say i found this post so funny, how in the hell do you value it at 6 MILLION ? 3 urinals for the paying public, OK great if you dont mind missing the racing waiting. Was the food outlets open for the kids ? or are you making that up too. Pits, I think they are really narrow and no view for the fans either to see what goes on. When you compare how good a track is by kids riding then you need to forget giving out advice. As for screeny using only the taken in bits is a load of crap, its impossible and i know the way screeny rides better than you. as for the owner, its his way or no way and he wouldnt listen to sam ermolenko and other experts or even the fans and thats why we are talking about the track still being shocking going into the third season. You really have made yourself look stupid with some of the things you have said in your post that is if you had been to leicester and not another track. -

Just a thought as alot of people have been upset at the programme increase and rightly so, sheffield do a free race card how many people would prefer that to a programme ? -

If you were there saturday you would of known,it wasnt the best kept secret that MK was coming in to replace roynon and as to contracts, if they were after a rider contracted to another team then they would have to seek permission from the club, anything else you would like to know neb just ask -

That little bird took awhile getting to you, it was known on saturday that karlsson could be back to replace roynon, however it could be someone else, i guess depends on a few contract issues. -

I think alot of fans feel conned by the promotion and very disapointed and let down. DH built the track like a large cycle speedway track, it hasnt worked and he wont admit it and make the right changes that could save the clubs future as without fans there will be no leicester speedway. Glyn using riders over fans is wrong, every fan will want a safe track but also a track riders can pass each other safely too, this is never going to happen unless major changes are made now. I have always said thats a problem with the speed of the straights and then the turn, its all wrong, however your last point is one i cannot see the promotion admitting or doing anything about which is sad for the future of leicester speedway. -

Every fan wants safety for the riders but not every fan Will pay each week to watch what has been on offer since leicester speedway came back anymore, the promotion has had long enough to get it right. The problem you are facing is your in the middle, you know what should of been done and are trying to fill the cracks and hope it might slightly improve things when you know had they made bigger changes we wouldnt be having this conversation going into the third season. Season tickets holders feel robbed and let down and cant walk away but others can if its not put right quickly, then the leicester lions team will be riding in a near empty jordan stadium. that will be a major shame for leicester and speedway. -

fans will fully agree with what you have said but sadly its the promotion you need to convince -

Not with me either, I dont care who the promotor is as long as the riders have a track capable of producing racing past the first turn. So the distance he was out in front it would be safe, I saw that steady struggled to pass in one race and he tried and tried but couldnt which shows its still a one line track as that guy can pass anywhere if possible. Starts looked ok but the races were over by the first turn, its a shame the dirt was by the fence, maybe time for rakers to return, it looked very dusty on the fourth turn towards the end, that must of been the fairy dust -

No not really as this has been the major problem letting down leicester speedway since it returned and now we are into the third season and the track is still highly talked about and that simply says it all. Time DH listened to expert advice and not his own which is puttng the clubs future at risk. -

I take it your not happy mick and now wished you had'nt bought a season ticket. I thought there would of been alot more shale on the track, it reminded me of a slick coventry track. -

I feel for you and others who have season tickets after watching that tonight, as expected nothing has changed,I think i would rather watch saturday night tv than see that out of the start stuff each week with no chance of see overtaking unless a rider makes a mistake. a 3rd year with a Poor track will have an effect on the future of the club, All because DH wouldnt listen to experts on what was the best way to change the track, he even quickly got it done while glyn was out of the way, this is leicesters track man and manager who also is someone with experience . -

As expected total crap racing as it has been for 2 seasons, The 2 or 3 feet cut in has made no difference at all as seen tonight. I await those who thought the meeting had loads of passing and the track was excellent. -
I guess nobody on here attended the meeting at 5pm ? as its all quiet
-
I think there has been several people who have been interested in buying the club but DH asking price was the end of it. As my point about the track, its a new discussion if you had not noticed about the slight changes
-
nob, I am only saying what alot of fans think, however alot wont post on here because of people like you who do nothing but abuse people for having a valid opinion.

I have a great deal of experience and when you try to explain it as if you take a few inches off a door or make a lift bigger you will get more people in and you compare that to taking a couple of feet off a track then its comedy at its best, you did make me laugh again and showed your lack of experience. When the track was built as a large cycle speedway track it was plain to see that it wouldnt create great racing to those with experience and knowledge of tracks. It really did need alot taking off the bends and the bends being rounded, glyn has a massive job to do if allowed and he needs alot of dirt on the outside but i cant see this making much of a difference, Time will tell over the next month and then people will vote with there feet.

Spot on mick, Love to hear what hurricane, mrcfs, liontamer, neb, long eye all think of your post and hope they will explain what the small barely unnoticable changes will make to the racing. Great post mick DH has tried to fool fans that he has done track changes for the better, when in fact he has just trimmed the kerbs to make it look like he has done track changes as fans wanted, it doesnt take an expert to see what he has done with free help to make no difference to racing other than say the track has been changed.
