  1. I think they should be taken off bikes now as they do very little and would save riders money.
  2. Your right it's up to the fans if they want to give money but I just think it was bang out of order to even ask fans to pay for his wife's airfare to another country.
  3. So are the British soldiers wife's & children but they get on with it. Fisher should feel ashamed taking that money.
  4. You would happily accept anything gem, people like you are why the sport is dying. I hear ryan fisher wants another collection to fly other family members on holiday, get your bucket ready gem,Only in Speedway lol
  5. It's not about giving or not giving it's wrong to ask fans in the first place to pay for a riders wife & kids to fly to another country, If fisher did Not ask for a collection then he needs to do the right thing and hand over the money to the riders ben fund.
  6. What about the real heroes who fight for Our country, they risk there life's to make ours safer, they are away from there families for months on end but get on with it. There families stay at home, kids go to school & daddy or mummy return when there stint abroad ends. I think it's made the sport look a joke,it's embarrassing that a person who gets 3 pay packets from 3 teams plus his own business is happy to take money off supporters to pay airfares for his family to travel to another country. I think it was wrong to do it and I am not alone.
  7. If a rider is badly injured I have no problem chucking £20 in a bucket but when I hear a rider begging for a new engine or money to repair his bike or van it's wrong to ask supporters IMHO as they should of got enough sponsors during the winter. As for the ryan fisher collection wanting British fans to dig deep to pay for his wife and kids to fly to Poland to live I am gobsmacked, the guy is earning a good wage, whatever the circumstances fans should not be asked to dig deep for this it's wrong and wouldn't happen in any other work place. I think riders begging needs to stop and promotors need to crack down on it.
  8. Benefit meeting for a millionaire ? The guy is a real legend of speedway history and this illness is terrible maybe a collection around the tracks for the Alzheimer's charity in the name of Ivan would be better and something fans would happily support.
  9. I must live in a very different society to you then as I cannot think of anyone I know or their families who have disfigured their body to that extent. Tai is Not a Role model on appearance in many people's eyes, not just mine. I think his racing, bravery & charity work is top class tho What was your question again ?
  10. What type of employment would he attract out of speedway ? Limited
  11. Sadly shows how far the sport has sunk when fans get excited when speedway gets a rare mention on tv.
  12. we are talking about his appearance and like I said that's a mess in a lot of people's eyes. Greg,Jason,Nicki P they are World Class role models you want your kids to follow there every step.
  13. He looks a real mess, do people seriously think he is a real role model to kids or a great advert to speedway off a bike? He doesn't have the right image
  14. I thought All sporting places allow a carer free under some disabled rights ruling?
  15. So would you charge Erik gunderson,Lawrence hare to name a few at full price or concession ?
  16. Just shows how little the sport is thought of by the media in this country. I can't believe how excited fans get if the media mentions the word speedway lol Well done tai
  17. I thought they have been trying to sort the reserves out all season lol They also need a team manager because glyn as a tractor driver and team manager it doesn't work.
  18. Sad day for Sheffield and speedway,Neil is a decent chap who has done a superb job there. I hope someone comes and buys it as its a fab stadium and a fantastic racetrack.
  19. seems the bspa have put Redcar into the play offs, will you appeal the decision glyn ?
  20. I have known many track paramedics and your idea of keeping a parent or wife away from the injured rider is wrong and not what many paramedics would advice that I know. I guess you have experience of being in a bad crash or knowing someone close being in one. Put it this way if I had son who had a bad crash nobody would stop me going over.
  21. you talk nonsense, partners & parents know riders medical backgrounds and are sometimes vital in assisting the great work the medics do on the track. I am glad rose is ok after last nights crash.
  22. I think partners/parents should also be allowed access to an injured rider.
  23. one English 2 point rider comes to mind who did well that started at reserve jason crump. There are probably a number of others,I think 2 Brits in a team would be a good thing and then in 5 years time up it to 3 Brits, however the sport needs to invest in track time for these British kids. Anyone know the costs of overseas riders compared to a local Brit ?
