  1. Just wondering if this bspa announcement has been at every track this season before the racing starts ? There is no way they can police it, how do they know if someone is videoing it or streaming it, secondly if caught are they going to take a picture of the person and put it up on every turn style at every track ?
  2. It seems today's riders will only ride on wet tracks if the cameras are there. I am not sure how the sport can recover from all these issues of the past months. It could take 10 years to rebuild the sport with the mess it's in now.
  3. There was a strong bspa announcement before Leicesters match last week saying anyone caught live streaming this meeting will be thrown out and banned for life from every track in the country ?
  4. That's strange as several of us couldn't see it on the official site. Just seen a little bit on the bottom corner, surely should be bigger than that where the previews are so many can see it.
  5. i cannot see anything on the official leicester website to say it's off ? Let's hope the lions fans look on here to save a wasted trip.
  6. The aces line up will boost the crowd but I fear a big loss for Leicester if the 1-5 perform like they did last week.
  7. Forecast for showers on Saturday but I can't see Leicester calling off there home match against Belle vue as they will want the match on. Very strange at Belle Vue
  8. you some it up that you can afford to go to 4 meetings a week so price is not a problem to you but most families struggle to see one meeting a week as its too expensive for such an unpopular sport in the uk. Speedway has lost the top riders now so they need to budget for £10/12 entrance to bring fans back or sooner than later the sport will be lost as clubs will fold because fans won't pay expensive prices for a weak product as seen at Leicester last week.
  9. You keep saying it's £17 when it's Not it's £18 get it right. I always buy a programme it's part of going to a meeting to follow what's happening. You must get your facts right about entrance prices.
  10. Maybe maths are not your thing it was £18 plus £3 for a programme with my adding up that makes £21 then times 2 that equals £39 (only 1 programme needed) that's an expensive night plus buying a drink there as your not allowed to take your own in. 15 races a minute = 15mins for £21 is that value for money these days when there is so much more on offer to see and do around the city ? Too expensive now for an unpopular dying sport
  11. Speedway is far too expensive for just 15 races at £21 that's without the cost of getting there plus add a burger & a drink, They wonder why crowds are low
  12. Is it time to offer Bjarne Pedersen another chance? Also how long can Norrie stay in charge ? Something needs to change before Saturday to convince those who walked out early to give it another go.
  13. Totally agree with you, the right day will come soon as so many things have gone on that shouldn't and it's made the sport what it is today a real mess. However The last person to speak out was a promotor and he got his licence taken away for speaking out against Poole. The sport needs cleaning up and run by an independent body not by mates
  14. Very poor crowd and many left early as it was that bad. As for the lions team it's clear other than the reserves that changes are needed, most of them didn't look that bothered tonight, at £21 fans need to see riders giving it 100% but far from it tonight. Is the manager not getting the best from them or are they not good enough ?
  15. So when can a rider walk away from a 12 month contract ? The problem with England is that anyone can represent this country in sport.
  16. Good question but money shouldn't come into it when you are in the British final, that in itself is a massive honour .
  17. Rosco should now announce tai will Not be picked for team GB for the sake of British speedway. If he doesn't then he should resign as no rider is bigger than the country they are representing and if a rider turns down the British final he should be left out of the national team.
  18. Crump was also born in Britain but that didn't make him a British rider. Tai has been badly advised and could turn out to be the most unpopular Team GB rider soon.
  19. I forgot speedway is booming in the uk and stadiums are full to capacity every week
  20. What they did get wrong was the start time and the entrance cost to entice new fans along.
  21. It Had to be a new track record as it's a different size track now from last season
  22. Hardcore fans like you will pay whatever price the promotors ask however will others want to pay Elite League prices to watch a friendly against a premier league team ?
