  1. So it's all about money for tai then, the British fans don't come into his thoughts, makes it even worse
  2. I don't agree with you often Steve but you are spot on, and if anyone says but tai is chasing a world title, yes then so is Holder,Doyle,NKI,Zagar,Jonsson they all want to be world champion but they ride in Britain and other countries. Too many excuses from tai now, so it's time British speedway stood strong and left him out of team GB this year.
  3. Just goes to show people listen to my views by reading the above And some say I talk nonsense lol Never when he won 6 titles the competition was a lot stronger than it is now. TR is a real speedway legend
  4. He really is under achieving as mauger,Olsen to name a few were household names everyone knew but outside of speedway fans nobody would know him.
  5. Both tai & bomber should have been given a wild card. You always find excuses for tai but don't you think he needs a good pr person and a good manager to advice him.
  6. I agree the league is a real mess but I think with a good PR person tai would bring in big crowds in the uk.
  7. It's still currently classed as a professional sport and in Britain we have the ELITE league so he should be riding in it. Wanting One set night is a weak excuse. Do you not think he would be good for British speedway and improve the crowds and profile ?
  8. As long as fans allow the bspa and riders to mess the sport up, then the sport will soon be lost for good.
  9. One day you will wake up and British speedway is an amateur sport and you will then look back at this crucial time for the sport and you may even think of what a British world champion could of done for British speedway. Do you think the British media will be interested in covering the British final without the British world champion ? They may even be negative about the sport, you and a few others don't see the damage tai not riding will have on this years British final,it's not good for the sport. But hey I am a tai hater as you say when in fact I am a fan of his racing but not the way he acts so not completely true. British Speedway is in a mess and tai is not helping.
  10. Where did I say I didn't go ? It seems everybody was ok with tai singing his heart out to the Australian national anthem then disrespecting the British anthem. Time bomber was made team GB captain he has been a great servant to British speedway.
  11. Ask me a better question like do I put money into the Ben fund every year ? YES Do you ? also why are you not disappointed about the fact the Ben fund charity lost a chance of making a huge amount of money and publicity had he rode.
  12. So it's wrong to be annoyed that a British world champion snubs a very important meeting called the Ben fund that helps riders paralysed in his own country. all of these paralysed riders in the uk were not lucky enough to be associated with an energy drink teams at the time of there accident and rely on the help from Ben fund. Who knows Maybe tai is going to donate the money from the training schools to the Ben fund.
  13. Shouldn't he be setting a good example to other top riders by riding in the Ben fund ? But then by your remark the Ben fund doesn't need the extra money it would of got had the world champion rode.
  14. There I was thinking this is a forum to express opinions but you only want a I love tai thread. Where was tai for the Ben Fund ? Had it been the darcy fund he would of been there.
  15. You won't mind when your son has his face covered in tattoos and his ears are like dumbo or if he gets good enough to stick two fingers up to the Ben fund,British speedway the British final when he follows tai path then your be proud. Tai is not a role model to young riders, jason crump Leigh Adams hans Nielsen to name a few were role models.
  16. He would be the last person most sensible parents would want teaching there kids. He is no role model
  17. There was No way of watering it anyway with that lack of dirt as it would of been dangerous. Your so right the riders went home safe and that's the most important thing at every meeting. I hope you can do turns one and two during the international break plus add more dirt
  18. I never mentioned there was no passes I mentioned it would of been even better had the track had some shale on it
  19. Lambert kept it on when the lions rider shut off to Coast over the line,I thought it looked a dead heat but after DH probally upset the ref about the lights I guess it was an easy decision.
  20. My only negative part on my post about this meeting was the track needed more shale and it would of been even better which was a fair comment. However You have not attacked Tatum, rosco,Louis and a host of riders & promoters who have All said the same things as me over the last 5 years, you obviously see things very differently to us and good for you sadly you just have to persuade the thousands who have walked away to return.
  21. Where did I say I didn't enjoy myself after saying it was a decent meeting ? i just thought had they bothered to put shale on the track it would of been an even better meeting which is a fair comment. so why was the Leicester promotors not happy ? Fair result better crowd and fans went home happy.
  22. I thought the track was very poor and the riders did there best to give the fans a decent meeting. A fair result in the end.
  23. Leicester win by 10+ If all the riders put the same effort in as they did against Swindon
  24. When did he last ride in the Ben fund charity meeting ? Surely a British world champion would jump to promote and take part in such a great cause for fellow injured riders racing in his home country ?
