  1. So it's wrong to be annoyed that a British world champion snubs a very important meeting called the Ben fund that helps riders paralysed in his own country. all of these paralysed riders in the uk were not lucky enough to be associated with an energy drink teams at the time of there accident and rely on the help from Ben fund. Who knows Maybe tai is going to donate the money from the training schools to the Ben fund.
  2. Shouldn't he be setting a good example to other top riders by riding in the Ben fund ? But then by your remark the Ben fund doesn't need the extra money it would of got had the world champion rode.
  3. There I was thinking this is a forum to express opinions but you only want a I love tai thread. Where was tai for the Ben Fund ? Had it been the darcy fund he would of been there.
  4. You won't mind when your son has his face covered in tattoos and his ears are like dumbo or if he gets good enough to stick two fingers up to the Ben fund,British speedway the British final when he follows tai path then your be proud. Tai is not a role model to young riders, jason crump Leigh Adams hans Nielsen to name a few were role models.
  5. He would be the last person most sensible parents would want teaching there kids. He is no role model
  6. There was No way of watering it anyway with that lack of dirt as it would of been dangerous. Your so right the riders went home safe and that's the most important thing at every meeting. I hope you can do turns one and two during the international break plus add more dirt
  7. I never mentioned there was no passes I mentioned it would of been even better had the track had some shale on it
  8. Lambert kept it on when the lions rider shut off to Coast over the line,I thought it looked a dead heat but after DH probally upset the ref about the lights I guess it was an easy decision.
  9. My only negative part on my post about this meeting was the track needed more shale and it would of been even better which was a fair comment. However You have not attacked Tatum, rosco,Louis and a host of riders & promoters who have All said the same things as me over the last 5 years, you obviously see things very differently to us and good for you sadly you just have to persuade the thousands who have walked away to return.
  10. Where did I say I didn't enjoy myself after saying it was a decent meeting ? i just thought had they bothered to put shale on the track it would of been an even better meeting which is a fair comment. so why was the Leicester promotors not happy ? Fair result better crowd and fans went home happy.
  11. I thought the track was very poor and the riders did there best to give the fans a decent meeting. A fair result in the end.
  12. Leicester win by 10+ If all the riders put the same effort in as they did against Swindon
  13. When did he last ride in the Ben fund charity meeting ? Surely a British world champion would jump to promote and take part in such a great cause for fellow injured riders racing in his home country ?
  14. Tai is doing it for tai not British speedway Really ? I don't see a large amount of media people turning up to cover the British final without the world champion, is that not damaging British speedway when your world champion snubs the British final.
  15. It's the damage tai is doing to British speedway as a British world champion snubbing the British final. Will he be donating his pay packet while riding for team GB to the Ben fund ?
  16. Really, is there. Not one or two English players playing in the French league that means they won't be selected for England ?
  17. You lack the intelligence like many who run the sport and that's why it's in such a mess. You are so happy then that tai refused to ride in the Ben fund ? You are happy that a lot of the media will avoid the British final because world champion will be missing. Great for the sport but your ok to see the sport die. Shame you can't see the big picture
  18. You cannot compare football to speedway that's where your argument fails. However rugby is a growing sport and unless you play rugby in the country of birth you are Not selected for your country, that sport is growing fast in this country. Tai has set a bad example to British kids that he can snub the British final,he can snub the Ben fund because he is world champion and doesn't need to do what he doesn't want too.
  19. It seems fans are starting to change there views on tai now. British speedway is partly in a mess due riders having the power to do what they want and to demand what they want and it needs to stop. tai is not bigger than British speedway but he seems to think he is because of happy clappers who don't see the long term damage.
  20. Had ward not had his tragic crash them he would of been back in British speedway this season. Also holder,Johnson,NKI, Zagar ,Doyle all chasing the world title but are not giving up British speedway. Too many weak excuses for tai and it's time those in charge make an example of him and not pick him or any rider to represent there country who doesn't compete in British speedway for the sale of the future of the sport.
  21. Shocked to say but you have excelled steve,Excellent post that is spot on to what a lot of fans think about him now. Loved the plastic Brit
  22. I heard Coventry don't look after the elderly fans, shocking and should feel ashamed.
  23. Yes Excellent and something other promotors need to do if not already doing. However the product needs to improve to benefit in the future
