  1. He wasn't disappointed about missing the British Ben fund charity meeting for British riders in a wheelchair but he is about missing a walk for a rider sadly injured who could afford to buy a house on the Gold Coast and then admitted he made a lot of money before his bad injury. Why is Steve Brandon doing a charity walk to the British GP for an Aussie instead of walking to the British GP for British riders in wheelchairs ? I don't think British fans should support it.
  2. Without fans you have nothing and even though he is clearly not a popular British world champion he should try and listen to fans views. I honestly think he is badly advised off track and too many yes people around him.
  3. when I see tai next I will speak to him and make views to his face in a respectful way.
  4. Leicester will never be any other night but Saturday as they have tried other nights and it's been awful crowds. The huge amount of rain last night I wonder if it's on ?
  5. No I spoke highly of that before so it wasn't ignored but in his position he could do something big for the Ben fund, the guy is a multi millionaire, 2x world champion and says he is British so its time he did something worthwhile for the British Ben Fun and help the wheelchair bound riders here.
  6. It was good for the kid and a bit of PR for tai, shame he can't do something for the Ben fund.
  7. Berwick promotion Well Done for looking after those who wore your colours, Total respect. Be interesting to see which teams follow them.
  8. 90% of British riders got either into debt racing or living with injuries and most no longer attend matches so giving them a pass is not a glorified bonus but some respect for being part of the history of British speedway.
  9. As suggested I would happily pay £50 for a season ticket for all tracks going to the Ben fund that get in completely free. However there is a word RESPECT and any rider who has raced for teams deserves that respect many feel by allowing them to see speedway for free. And you really believe riders do it for the fans ? Look at tai and then make your decision
  10. Your post is even more hilarious as it's clear you cannot read what's been said by your reply, so funny
  11. You smiled and said hello to me before in passing, I thought there's that dog woman hehe
  12. That rules Leigh Adams out then, However it's ok for those who have made millions from the sport to come in for free but those who have paid thousands and made nothing have to pay. I think a £50 season ticket to all tracks for riders who have rode over a 3 year period and the money going to the Ben fund would be a worthwhile idea.
  13. I just think it's respect of those who raced. There are far more good reasons for giving out life time season tickets to ex riders than not, the huge PR benefit it brings for speedway. Like I said football teams are proud they look after ex players why not speedway ?
  14. nice insult towards me that sums you up. Tai, turned his back on British speedway/British final we should turn our back on tai. Darcy I feel sad he was seriously injured but continuelly collecting for a rider who can afford to buy a nice home on the Gold Coast is wrong when many British wheelchair riders struggle. You are clueless on what's right for British speedway moving forward. Like I said All clubs should allow ex riders in for free like they do ex footballers. Does Newcastle allow ex riders in for free ?
  15. Have you ever rode a speedway bike competitively ? how can you say I only rode a handful of times ? So funny Several promoters I chat too agree with me so yes they are happy I attend, I think your lacking inside knowledge and understanding of what's wrong deep inside the sport. I am pleased Berwick promoters have done that at the club and hope the rest follow. Tnc what an excellent post, your right football clubs look after ex players, only a few speedway clubs look after ex riders, things need to change for the respect of riders who raced for teams at any level.
  16. He probably was too tired to think about the fact that had he bothered to race in it and win it for the fourth time in a row he would equal the record held by briggo.
  17. No as what example does tai set to young kids and if lambert wins the world u21 will he then decide he is too good to ride in the uk and the British final next year but still expect a team gb place. However I can't see tai being dropped and that questions the way British speedway is run.
  18. That's where you are lacking intelligence I don't hate tai, I am frustrated that he doesn't make better decisions and the fact he has a lot of yes people around him doesn't help. I was a big fan of Greg, known him personally for years, now I just don't like watching him off track since his huge monster deal,a 46 year old man acting like a 17 year old. Darcy, I don't hate him, another one who was surrounded by the wrong people, fundraising for a rider who earnt a million plus a year when a young Brit lives at home with his parents after a crash is wrong and that was my gripe not hatred of Darcy and his talent. As SL correctly said I have total respect of everyone who races a speedway bike and your constant drivel that I hate tai is wrong and again you have No Proof to back your claim up. Ps Do you have permission to use that picture of Lilly savage ?
  19. It's clearly getting to tai by wearing a retro England shirt and by making a big deal about it but sadly it means nothing to him NOT riding in England to defend his National title or riding in England for Wheelchair bound riders. Tai needs to make a statement saying he is really sorry to the British riders and the fans for disrespecting the British Final and he will make a donation to the Ben fund, that would give him some respect back as a person and be good PR for him.
  20. Yes Gavan (family friend of mark loram) where is your proof that people hate tai ? You keep wanting proof and as someone gave proof of what I said on another thread was true you failed to even apologize or comment on it as you knew I was right. So as SL said please provide proof who hates tai ?
  21. Plus without the reigning British and world champion and on a school day. Why is it Not run on a Saturday night or a Sunday afternoon ?
  22. I don't think that is an issue Phil it's the fact he is not riding in the British final and refuses to sing the British anthem but sings the Australian one. Tai is like marmite to British Fans but he also hasn't done himself any favours by snubbing the British final.
  23. So Darcy Ward would have to pay then when he goes back to Poole
  24. Tungate rode again tonight, that's two matches in consecutive days, superb recovery within 5 days
