Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
robert72 replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Get in the real world it's what a lot of people think, most people are fed up with the DW43 all the time, there are British riders badly hurt too who didn't make a good living like Darcy where's the support for them ? -
Was it steve bishop ?

Were you dragged up to be an uneducated idiot or it just happened? Did you know the riders or their families and do you know any rider in a wheelchair ? People have been taken for mugs giving to a rider who can afford a home on the Gold Coast. Let's all Support DW and forget our own Ricky Ashworth and others, after all this country is good at that. Didn't Darcy need a uk holiday home too maybe you and your buddies can chip in towards it. -

They are all talk Hodgy because as you and others know I would so love to add £10k for Ben Fund out of those idiots pockets who doubted I raced. Let's see their cash £10k I can go to £20k if they really are that sure I am a liar, come on it's a great cause. -
I feel for the kids, the crowds are all but left and the senior riders are all gone unlike back when they had the BJL and NJL there were senior riders to help and further back junior riders raced against senior riders to gain experience. British Speedway is much weaker now

I lined up against a very young Mark loram and followed his back wheel for 4 laps he was smart and so talented at 16 you could see he would go all the way. I think he went on and did well at stoke to or am I thinking of someone else ?

I think everyone has seen your post and summed you up. -
Bob was the Alex Ferguson, I don't think he gets the credit he deserves, the young talent he brought through aswel as riders the were cast offs that came good at eastbourne. Dave jessup was awesome to watch Arlington as was Gordon kennett.

I had injuries but not long term unlike people I knew well that I raced with and against who are wheelchair bound and don't get the DW support so the SRBF is important and a great charity and Those representing team GB in the World Cup should be in the next Ben fund or should be named and shamed. I also knew 5 riders killed on track and knew their families, these people seem forgotten, a page in the Brit GP programme remembering them would be good. -

Why do you keep posting Steve if you have no interest in it ? Makes you look a little silly Yes I won a lot of races there but not as many as I won at stoke -
Bwitcher is a kid who is never wrong but in the real world is clueless. Eastbourne brought loads of good talent through the mini track onto riding for the eaglets and into teams. Over the years they had strong juniors teams and talented riders dugard, barker, standing, norris, richardson to name a small few in recent times and before that they had great riders that would also walk into any teams. I remember Martin yeates at Poole a great rider

Why do you keep posting on this thread and in the next breathe you want it closed, just avoid it if it bothers you oh and don't post on it. -
Some people live in the gutter I think and just lack class.

The sprog from the mother who babysat middlo has spoken more twaddle yet again,no surprise. Let's tell the boss I cannot go to Scotland as the stupid brigade want me in stoke to prove I can race against someone who does it for fun, you missed the boat as you didn't have the guts to race but I am sure you had the privilege to have seen me win races at Poole -

We have a very good crop of young riders coming through now, We need them to see they cannot snub British speedway and then ride in the World Cup final for team GB Your right British Speedway is poor and has been for a number of years but it needs the British World Champion, it was good enough for him to learn his trade.
