There was talk that former Peterborough promoter/s were interested as they had business interests in the city but were scared off by the price. I fear for the future of the sport in Leicester and the blame is as much with the BSPA and Sky as it is with the vocal promoter.

You failed to mention the training school for the British kids ? TW didn't worry about the British fans before he had to crawl back as he ran out of rides abroad, so is he paying out of his own pocket for his bikes and mechanics to be brought over ?

The only person tai is concerned about his himself, if his season wasnt cut short in Poland and Sweden he wouldn't care less about the British fans. No news on the TW training sessions for the young British kids yet ? .

pure stupidity again steve as I think he is a great rider so I am not a tai hater just very disappointed in him. The only reason he is back in British speedway is he ran out of meetings abroad, he made it clear his views clear on British speedway and the poor state of the UK tracks but he has crawled back but you won't see him next year so make the most out of the plastic Brit soon to be Aussie rider.

Let's celebrate along with sky the return of the so called Brit who this year has turned his back on the British league racing then the British final and now turned his back on the British team, So he ran out of meetings in his beloved Poland and Sweden and had to make a return to the rough British tracks with different race nights but will be treated by Pearson as a hero returns and not the British speedway traitor seen by many. I am giving the sky match a miss tomorrow I think Poole will win tomorrow at Leicester

Several people did say he should of been dropped before the World Cup Now he has Dropped team GB after already dropping British speedway and the British final but the few will still defend him by saying he will be a 3 time British world champion and that's great for British speedway but I don't see how ?

I am surprised they drink the energy drinks they keep waving in front of every camera as surely they could be enough to fail a drugs test.

No Leicester have had their ONE sky meeting per season.

Arriving at the track we knew about a drugs test that was going to happen later, I don't think it should of been mentioned before hand as the guilty one/s can withdraw from the meeting. Get caught with drugs or alcohol in the system then life time ban from the sport.

I only remember a drug test once at any meeting I was at and two riders pulled out with apparently a mysterious bug and took no part in the meeting so wasn't tested. I would like to see all riders tested at every meeting at every level.

So last season Leicester were better than lakeside and Wolverhampton but again only got on sky once compared to the two weaker teams who were seen a number of times home and away. Yes I agree the track is poor but so is lakeside but Sky keep returning there several times a season. Had Leicester pulled out of the Elite League then sky would of quit speedway.

I also put blame on sky as they have not been fair on Leicester, One Live meeting a season at home, how can that help promote Leicester speedway, not even been seen in an away meeting since they joined the EL it's shocking to snub one club.
