  1. Ask him what going on with Leicester,Coventry, Belle Vue and the new Swindon track.
  2. I think the best meeting I have seen at Leicester was the kids meeting, they all gave 110% and all wanted to be there, ok so not as fast but far more enjoyable to watch. I would like to see the second league have at least 4 Brits per team and cut out the foreign journeymen.
  3. So no signs of a new stadium yet ? Could Coventry move to Leicester and Swindon move to Oxford as anything can happen in speedway.
  4. If a rider pops an air fence panel does part of the repair bill come from their wages ? Not sure how much each panel costs. Would a foam fence be cheaper long term
  5. Maybe they should look at the race suits, were leathers safer than kevlars ? Would a inflatable suit like bomber wore be safer. don't they have a health and safety person that checks things now Riders walk the track looking for ruts but don't check the air fence, maybe they should now
  6. I got a very irrate pm from a family member of an ex rider who several thought was me several months ago but again I said it wasn't but several members went into overdrive thinking it was in the mean time ripping apart the rider and his personal life including very personal things about his wife leaving ect. The rider named is Not me and again if I wanted to be known I would and this is my choice but don't drag innocent people into it by naming and shaming there careers and family life's. Steve please read above, cheers
  7. That's definitely not me as I have full head of hair and must be 10 years younger lol but let's attack another innocent ex rider just like you did rob homer,Rob lightfoot and others mentioned.
  8. If you think that's me your wrong again but amusing however.
  9. Rain covers would stop a majority of meetings being called off
  10. Or is it that I am not old enough to remember whoever soldier boy is ? I think your on the wrong thread talking about old riders us young ones have never heard of maybe you should stick to years gone by threads. So the foam fence seems the safest option then
  11. It must be 30 years this year that I first raced against him at hackney, time flies.
  12. I think Dave Darcy paid for the last track changes to bends 3 & 4 lets hope he does 1 & 2 now
  13. The bspa have always been a joke and nothing changes, We must only be about 9 weeks away from the start of the season and 3 sets of fans know very little about what's going on with their club in the top flight of British speedway, that is shocking for a professional sport to treat fans this badly.
  14. Jeez that was a heavy impact on that fence for you, it was an awful place to ride I thought. Your right steve about hitting the concrete and taking off at arena but speedibee will disagree with you as he races in his sleep and is an expert.
  15. That's the thing you can only dream about racing. Doesn't Rory live in the midlands Gem ? I can think of several Aussies who stayed here but your right that suggestion is wrong, don't even know him.
  16. So buster owns the Leicester lions Speedway club but not the stadium which is still owned by a man banned from speedway and his mate stays as the promoter of the club but he owns neither the club or stadium. Interesting season ahead, Best of luck
  17. IF British promoters were to run the sport properly and people got value for money they wouldn't need any Barry Hearn type.
  18. I hated riding at Exeter, it was the only unbreakable fence in speedway, riders and bikes broke easily, it was a marmite place with a steel fence.
  19. I remember seeing a good amount of St. John's plus a doctor when I was racing and they did a good job, my concerns now is the small amount of medical help at some tracks and how would they cope with a bad 4 rider crash. I think foam fences are the answer Have you hit one of these at speed as you talk a lot of twaddle.
  20. You live on another planet, you simply have no idea about safety, my team mate got badly hurt at Ipswich with that fence, seen many big crashes there, it wasn't the best fence to hit and as you say a run off onto a stock car track is safe I beg to differ.
  21. I can remember riding at arena Essex (lakeside) when they had no fence, that was scary.
  22. There you go you have proven your completely clueless.
