  1. Any News from Horton or the Bspa today ?
  2. a lot of the disputes are about promoters not paying riders or Johnny Foreigner thinking British speedway should pay them more than others,Aussies being the worst. However many just want to race
  3. One hasn't got a team yet,the other hasn't got a stadium to race in and the third is all down to the council if they are to continue plus non of them have sold a single season ticket. Promoters have a lot to answer too about the mess the sport is in now.
  4. It's solely the riders enjoyment of racing a bike at speed and beating the other riders.
  5. I never get the saying that the riders risk there life to entertain the fans.
  6. The sport is in the biggest mess in its history so it's far too early to be asking anyone to applaud the person in charge of this ongoing embarrassment until everyone sees a sport to be proud of attending each week.
  7. Do the BSPA really care about the way the fans are treated so badly? Coventry fans still don't know if their team will race in 2017 & if so where ? Leicester have No team or race night Belle Vue are still to be finalised How reliable are the Fixtures I think the fans should send emails to the bspa wanting answers as paying customers
  8. IF the bees were to track share with Leicester then it will be interesting to see how many times Sky turn up for Bees matches at Leicester.
  9. Looking like Leicester will stay a Saturday track
  10. There you go make it a fans owned club now and you will get more help.
  11. I am surprised we haven't had a fans run club yet, I think it's the way forward and doubt the bspa would object as it wouldn't been in there interest to rock a fans owned club.
  12. so if the way forward is a basic stadium in a field (which I agree ) why the need of millionaire fans which is not needed.
  13. Get support from the local council to lease some land with permission for speedway then get as many people to help do a somerset/leicester type stadium and keep it a fans owned club like they do at several football clubs, then it's down to the fans to build it up.
  14. The Bees fans have known this was going to happen for a very long time, The fans should of bought the club and run it themselves and then they wouldn't of gone through weeks of worry which still continues. Let's hope for news tomorrow
  15. Darcy/Chapman have already spoken in last weeks SS
  16. Leicester last week said it wouldn't happen as it would not be good for their business, So has Leicester made an official comment to back Horton claims of the bees starting there?
  17. Sadly according to the New Leicester promotion it is Not an option for the Bees to use the Leicester track.
  18. Maybe it's time to pull the plug for the sake of British Speedway
  19. Shame he couldn't sort out coventry but he truly deserves his retirement
  20. Yes a few Leicester Take coventry's Friday race nights Leicester take bees riders after there contracts become the property of the Bspa who Leicester owner is the bspa chairman. Leicester gain Bees fans getting their speedway fix Leicester local derby will then become Kings Lynn oops who owns Kings Lynn ? So it could have plenty of benefits for the new Leicester owner but let's hope Coventry are not lost to speedway and the bspa chairman has found another promotor to run Coventry. Let's hope there is good news tomorrow for the bees future.
  21. Think of the benefits if Coventry don't run for his new club Leicester
  22. I don't hear Ole,Kelvin,Tommy,Greg or others speaking out about their old clubs future, Sad time for the Coventry Bees fans.
  23. If Coventry go bust, then the riders contracts will be owned by the BSPA so Leicester in need of rider assets can buy or loan them on the cheap plus get Friday race nights, I hope Coventry is saved by a new promotor who can give the club a long future.
