They have got away with it for years as the BSPA allow them too. A promoter can withhold a riders payment but a rider cannot withhold his services to the promoter.

It may look a bigger crowd as fans have no choice but to stand together in one area at Wolves (poor for fans & riders) where as you have a choice where to stand or sit at the showground which I think will get a far bigger crowd than a testimonial of a swede. Is TW riding in it ?

Ask Bomber,Nicholls & Kennett then who want to ride both, didn't cook struggle to get permission last year to ride in both, time British Speedway moved everything to make the Brits ride in both leagues.

I think your right about Leicester being the worst track in British Speedway, can only hope the new promotion are sorting it out now as it has drove so many fans away including away fans like yourself who won't return.
