So i have a mental disorder and also OCD and you do what for a job to diagnose this ? I have every right to make my opinion and every right to have my doubts on whether the track will be changed and to discuss what the promotion are doing to safe gaurd leicester speedway on an open forum. Lets face it alot of people dont know speedway is back in leicester yet,also lots of hardcore fans have walked away from BP,so how are the promotion going to get them back? You and mrcts think its all rosey up there and speedway is safe, not so true as you would like to think, if they dont get it right this season more fans will move on to other things and speedway will be gone.Fact The main product is the track and it should of been done months ago and then tried,tested and then promoted as the new and improved race track in the hope new fans would take a look and old fans would give it another go,its abit late a couple weeks before the start of the season i feel to get people interested and also the lions team set up on there new home track. I have to say it is very sad when a few people on this forum use serious medical conditions that people & there families suffer with on a daily basis as a way of bullying and abusing people on a free speech forum.

I take it you are really stupid by your silly offensive reply, of course it bothers me and other sensible lions fans about the running of the club and its future. Would you put money into buying a season ticket if you are unsure if the track will be changed, I know several people who bought season tickets last season early on as they were told the track would be changed, it was never changed. You have to question why the promotion are waiting this long and have not changed it earlier to there advantages. If you disagree with what i say then say so but dont use mental illness as a silly dig,I gladly dont have a mental illness but i have seen people who do and really struggle, its very immature to accuse someone of being mentally ill.

Wasnt the track being changed last winter but didnt happen? Why leave it till a few weeks before the season,is this the way to get fans to buy early season tickets or for future sponsors to invest not knowing if it will happen,again this is why speedway is in a mess, bad management decisions.

Do you believe 100% you will get the track shape right and encourage the hundreds of fans who walked away to return again

I think somerset is a fantastic venue and a track that deserves big meetings(summertime) ,however i am just saying imho i think a meeting in central england during the winter would bring more fans out than deep down in somerset.

birmingham,leicester,coventry,wolves thats 4 big clubs that are central and all with good support and in a good catchment area for speedway,far better choices missed.I think somerset is a great track but not my choice for a christmas speedway meeting for uk fans

if the bspa were thinking of holding a speedway meeting during the winter for fans then it should be somewhere central not down in lonely somerset.

Does this mean the soon to be new shaped BP track will be grippier next season ? So it now seems things have changed from what you said above a few days ago ? so the track work will now start after the 17th feb Training days Dec 30th Jan 13th and 27th Feb 3rd and 17th. Yes jim, I agree to a point, however if some of these morons were to run speedway at leicester it would soon be closed down,I know a number of lions fans who wont comment on any leicester thread due to the fact that anyone who is not happy with anything to do with leicester speedway and post there negative views will end up being shot down and abused,but this will Never stop me posting my views as it has done to a number of lions posters who have sadly left the forum. I am not a happy clapper like you and expect better than what has been on show and have an opinion as its a free speech forum,So i guess your the thick one who excepts sub standard products for top money.

They are not going to start work on the track until the earliest date of the 16th feb, some 12 days before the start of march, So work will go into march thats if the weather is kind,if the weather is bad then it will be tight to get it done and tried out before the start of the season,so not completely true about alot of time.

are you really that stupid, you want leicester fans to go and support coventry because they feel things should be done better at there club to help make there club a success. I thought DH running of the club was not the greatest but if you were in charge it would be closed down as you would end up with a handful of yes fans.

So your saying one bend couldnt be done in a week and the other the week after when we had a 2 week break ? well if they are not starting the track changes to the secnd or third week in feb (weather permitting) and they say riders will have plenty of track time it seems they must be able too as they will only have just over 2 weeks if they want riders to try it out. I think its abit risky doing it that close to the start of the season.

Oh i do want it changed and was one of many who expected it too happen last winter but it was all talk and no action, Glyn rightly said we want better racing for the fans, sadly the promotion didnt care about the fans last season and then again decided not to change it mid season because the riders apparently liked it,this i find hard to believe when riders like lasse are complaining about the track weekly. David hemsley also said the track was superb and producing great racing? is it david, then why were so many fans staying away and why has it taken 2 dismal seasons of gate and you win races and now you decide to change it ? this is another reason why this promotion is not ready for EL at the moment.

So why change it with 5 lions riders remaining from last season who were part of the unbeaten home run, will they want the track changed

When Nieminen,Graversen,Bjerre,Nielsen,Blackbird All alledgely said they didnt want the track changed as they were happy with it,Then why is it being changed as we have 5 out of 7 riders from last season who DH said didnt want the track changed as they liked it and they felt it gave them home advantage ? Just a thought

So what date has been given for the start of track changes ? most fans would buy tickets to watch that happen

. I heard the riders taking part in the practice sessions dont want the track changed so the promotion are keeping it the way it is for now .

Looked good at leicester even tho he had a couple of falls, very quick and neat rider

I know people who go home and away,so get info that way,How can what i say belittlie the lions? the product on its own does that sadly but promises have been made and we will wait and see and hopefully the fans will get a good race track and a better run meetings,however will it be under another promotor or joint-promotor?
