Last season i personally knew of 9 riders that was really struggling but loads and loads over the years. nob, you are a major factor to why people leave the forum, you only seem to abuse people and follow there every post to make snide comments, I really wonder if you attend any matches or your only interest is to be a troll on forums.

I wasnt even replying to you and you butt in with your childish reply, its plain to see why many have left the leicester forum

Shows your complete lack of knowledge of speedway riders earnings, most have other jobs to pay for racing,some have backing from family members to pay for there racing,some have major sponsors to pay for there racing,So if you honestly think 99% of speedway riders go to make a fortune then you are so wrong,how many have to work hard during the winter to pay for the season just gone.

alot of riders i know its about racing and winning races over money, if you really think that you can make a good living then you are thinking about a different sport,i know alot of riders that were struggling to get to the end of the season.

I can assue you i wont be on here if they dont get it right, I will take my buisess elsewhere as will alot of other fans who wont except it for a third year. How can someone get a blank canvas so wrong in the first place, it should be the best race track in the country.

Its only a dumb question for someone like you and tsunami, I dont know the answer thats why i asked the question to glyn to see if he will reveal what his plans are and what he expects will make a big difference to the lack of racing as it is now.

Too answer your question i have sky but dont have a smart phone, my mate also has sky but doesnt have a smart phone, Will heat 1 create a new track record ? kk or scott (if they turn up)

you are wrong as they dont have sky sports in the bar, so no chance of anyone seeing it in the bar before the meeting.

That is if they are loaded and can afford to do both,most people cant. If they can get into the stadium within 10 mins of leaving there leicester homes then maybe they should be in the team Didnt the bees come to BP before and several top riders dropped out last min,

Simple point is it will bring more fans in knowing its a fair meeting and not a one sided meeting, Do BOTH are you in the real world, not many people i know who could afford to do both,some will be picking there league meetings aswel. I think opinions are clearly split on this mis match of a meeting.

I mentioned this 2 pages ago aswel as coventry city who are chasing promotion are home that day, so this match is against 2 big local football matches, I think leicester should bring in andersen & barker if available and give the reserves a night off.

exactly get new fans in to watch a one sided meeting and then they wont return, great buisness and good for speedway NOT.

Yes i and several other fans would swap and have edinburgh as a first match instead of coventry, it would be an eqaul match many fans would want to attend as they would feel there team is in with a chance. Flagrag has got it right, they need a top elite league rider or 2 to make the lions stronger, again the promotion are lackng in thought.

ripping off fans on a pointless one sided meeting, great buisness ? rather see lions v another prem team. Sameday,2 big football matches in the leicester & coventry area, promotion chasing leicester city are playing rivals derby at 5.20pm also promotion chasing coventry city are at home, so it has two major events to compete with that day.

If both teams were equal then this would be appealing but this is far from eqaul, just money making, bring on the premier league season

You talk like someone who has no experience of the sport other than watching,you said nobody has hit the fence since you were there,that is great but i have seen meetings when nobody thankfully has hit the fence racing but it does happen and if the air fence is in place its safer. If one rider went out wide and hit the air fence during a practice session and it saved them serious injury it was worth the effort to put the air fence up. I have seen a world class rider slide off on his own and break his back practising,i have seen a kid nearly lose his head when he hit the fence practising, I have seen a rider who couldnt hardly slide a bike and the next thing he took off full throttle and went straight into the fence and smashed both legs (no air fence back then) he had screws type frame sticking out for months,he never rode again,list goes on to the crashes i have seen at training sessions,I just think if you have an air fence use it in case its needed.

Shows your stupidity, So if its dangerous then why not make it safer for the riders, Everyone connected in running speedway should make sure the safety of everyone is paramount, Why can scunny put theres up and leicester cant be bothered.

I cannot believe that safety is questioned, you say practice/training sessions is not racing, I have witnessed a number of major crashes at these events around the country before the air fence days and seen some bad injuries, I just think they have an air fence at leicester so why not inflate it in case a rider takes off and gets badly hurt.

I think its not showing respect to the riders safety, they have an air fence they should use it, after all they are charging £40 a go
