i think its been overused and there are suspicions that some riders are saving their best equipment/ performances for the EL maybe they should be nos 8,9,10 in an EL squad and replace missing riders only perhaps this would be a way of reducing or even eliminating guests usage

i wouldn't pay 20 either but would pay for single meetings occasionally- maybe 3 to 5 pounds a time

tell you what - we may act like dicks on here sometimes, myself included but this shows that there are good thinkers out there with good ideas

i am certainly not stereotyping the north - i am a proud northerner and i can assure you we have been crapped on by a government we never vote for. There is almost certainly less disposable income up here and these whippets cost a bomb. And have you seen the price of flat caps lately? Coventry and Birmingham are in the midlands as it happens

yes but thats once twk - your point is still valid - the PL is not without problems but i would suggest there are more and deeper problems in EL and its all down to money make the sport cheaper (I'll leave that to those who are mechanically savvy) and i'm sure it can be done and riders will take less cash from the sport

yes - no guests end of sign somone else or get creamed - either is preferable to sham teams

is there a "comp" with credibility? this is speedway - littered with teams peopled by riders who ride for someone else: guests, du etc say what you like about the lack of an alternative but guests ensure speedway will never be credible

the team finishing top SHOULD be league champions however, an end of season competition featuring the top 6 would give the required exciting finish to the season plus appease traditionalists.

you mean "enlarge in a new window" and its exactly the same size unless you use the plus button and then you have to manouvre the page arounf to read the text. Why can't the pages and corresponding text just be normal page size like every other site i visit?

well what would you do then? There aren't unlimited team places in Poland and Sweden so no they won't all 'bugger off'. And we're not talking about 'wobbling juniors' just overpaid eurostars. The crowds we attract are only large enough to fund a semi pro sport.

I would think that there about 10 'ways forward' being considered by various promotors. The world looks very different from the perspective of , say Poole and Coventry to the perspective of ,say Isle of wight, Glasgow, etc. Whatever plans are made should ensure the survival of all clubs, not just the rich ones.
