yes but there's people like Coty Garcia, Jacob Bukkhave, etc to add into the equasion not just current - plus recently retired etc etc Much like when D2 was formed in '68 people will emerge and we could move to 6 man teams - temporarliy maybe
-
spot on - its blddy ludicrous
-
no it isn''t new - but within the same country and league set up its daft

Rye House V King's Lynn - Tuesday 29th August.

would imagine he'd be pleased to get away from GP rider shenanigans -
other than Glasgow I can't really think of anyone who'd want to get involved with the top league and even then they'd be giving up derbies galore and would they be welcome in the top league (even as I type this I've forgotten what its called) - they're miles away from most of the other teams
-
1. both scenarios are farcical - ignoring rules or making new ones up 2. don't introduce such an unworkable thing in the first place - just abandon the idea now thats what I suggest 3. OR - yes lets do it, can't wait, it'll be amazing
-
the obvious answer is as you say - obvious but the question perhaps had more layers than you initially detected or perhaps was intended by the asker yes we know what the rules say but - really? It would be farcical
-
for a league to work it has to work for Scunthorpe, Worky, Redcar, etc - not just Poole, Wolves, BV etc
-
so in what possible sense would they be teams? credible teams anyway
-
or amalgamate with 18 teams or 20 if Birmingham and Eastbourne fancy it with strengths at CL level, 6 man teams if necessary 18 or 20 reasonably meaningful fixtures plus cup and a couple of others - 4tt, individual etc I think the public would go for that
-
oh, right so you're just quoting the rules - well we know them - hardly a contribution to the debate which is about promotion and relegation and the validity thereof and in fact I would seriously doubt that the rule makers thought this far ahead and never considered what might happen at the playoff best idea is forget them
-
Seriously? Glasgow play Somerset. Richard Lawson turns up for the Glasgow leg riding for Somerset (or vice versa) and you think thats a credible sports situation? Does anyone else, other than SCB, think thats not crazy or is it me
-
and you see no problem in that?? or were you kidding? please tell me you were
-
well of course it is - how the fk can someone ride for a team and relegate his other team or vice versa how could someone watch their own no 1 turn up for another team? its too ludicrous to contemplate - thats why I deleted my comment and now I've made it but a bit politer
-
deleted my comment - its too stupid to contemplate

Fixed Race Nights For 2018 Season

Redcar could move from thurs to fri but it would cost them in attendances - why should they suffer to prop up a failing division? Redcar crowds are up 20 pc -
I would argue that the 2 things are not related - its all opinions, we'll never know because no one in the UK is going to compete with Polish pay, with Denmark or Sweden being their second choice of league when the Poles introduce that one other league rule.
-
because of guests, du/dd, bad promotion, bad tracks, bikes too fast and ugly, lack of identifying with team, etc all sorts of things you just have to deal with them one at a time and getting rid of du/dd would be where I'd start I'd also limit guests to 1 and only allow a team to use a guest 5 or 6 times in a season - after that they'd just have to cope or get someone else - credibility
-
I dunno - why?
-
just read this - what a clown. Why would anyone believe anything he says?

be interesting to test this in law -
Some people think you need big names but IMO you need evenly matched teams thats all
-
I think it is a valid point - they may not be immediately as successful as more experienced foreign riders but if given an extended chance perhaps there would be development.
