great post mikebv -

i think it would be easier to look at the attendance figures - that tells the actual story

the rulebook will continue to be bent until there is an independent governance. And i dont mean turning it into a darts like circus. Answer me this - apart from airfences and other safety measures what has improved? Tracks - worse, bikes - worse, team consistency - worse, body colours (trivial i know) - worse, etc etc etc As a sideline there has been a few pics of Dewayne Keeter on fb lately. - fondly remembered as a tryer who, frankly, wasn't all that good but stayed in the Lions team all season. He'd be dropped after a month now in the insane rush to win at all costs.

its sporting action and should be respected as such until its over - as BB says we can see whats going on. They should restrict themselves to interviews not commentary. Its mainly because they like the sound of their own voices. -

i think speaking when a race is in progress should not be allowed. -
well if he'd just shut up instead of digging himself into a big hole we would all move on but he has to have the last word
-
i will move on, its over now - i didn't like it though
-
it wasn't banter though - he claimed authority for a statement which he knew to be false. He could have caused problems - they may have appeared available to other promoters for example. If i was promoter or manager he'd be in trouble. Needs to keep it shut if he's in a trusted position. Well the management know he's not trustworthy now. Yes fans come on here and speculate - they do not claim authority and thats the difference

don't know if anyone has said this but its been bad luck to hitch our wagon to greyhound racing which has gone down the pan and taken us with it. I think from now on - low facility rural circuits that have to be driven to only, no more inner city dog tracks where the viewing was often rubbish anyway but the facilities were good when i look at the current clubs in dog stadiums i don't feel confident for their future.
-
good for attention seekers too
-
i think most teams have someone its worth turning up to watch - looks like a good league to me
-
infantile behaviour, proved wrong and then 'it was just a joke' . Pathetic actually
-
at school we used to chant ' i know something you don't know' to annoy the other kids. I've grown out of it now unlike some
-
we have a National Stadium for such events - neutral, central and good racing
-
its what the whole sport in this country should strive for - big names do not necessarily equal good racing in fact the opposite is often the case
-
there'd be quite a few arses riding 2 horses as they say
-
shouldn't you be doing your homework or watching porn
-
i agree with SCB - anyone over 6 shouldn't be in the 2nd Div
-
not one thing - quite a few, each taken on its own may seem trivial i do not like the look of the bikes, body colours, etc too many team changes every year win at all costs attitude leading to rule bending costs too much to get in bikes too fast/ not enough dirt
-
you seem to have an unlimited supply of bs
-
actually you might be joking but i wouldnt mind a spring tournament amongst those 4
-
'heaven help Redcar' = what you on about? My understanding is our septet is all but signed and sealed and being announced when they're good and ready to announce, which may well be the case for the Diamonds.
-
Cricket clubs below county level have a single professional - perhaps this is the way forward, especially when old hands drop down
-
how do you know i was talking to you
