Looks a really decent team to me. Seems strange they have Morris who is No 1 for so called TOP? League Swindon. Suppose we are just getting nearer and nearer the two Leagues joining up. Anyway,well done Lakeside for showing ambition and not hanging around the NL.

Nice to see someone sees it the same as me. The best meetings I watched in 2017 was from the Swedish League. Top riders in every Heat,so you could not predict the result and close racing.

Respect your view,we just differ in how we see it. I went regular for the first three or four seasons. But NL Speedway is a mixture of seasoned riders that are comfortable in this League/riders starting off... some go on and others do not. These riders have older equipment which means problems with bikes and others make mistakes which means delays galore. I went to two or three meetings beginning of 2017 and they went on forever!!! To me Club will not move forward until someone does not CONTROL everything. Track still needs a vast improvement. I know the curfew does not help.

Oh how I love the NL....... not. Until Kent show some ambition,I will not go. Cannot believe next year will be their sixth season and still scratching around in the third tier. When they started I thought two or three years before a move up.... but no.

Know exactly how you feel. I feel the same about Kent. Five years now of NL. I was under the impression after two or three years in the NL,the Club would look to bring a better class of Speedway to CP. Had enough of NL,but it looks the same again in 2018

As I have said before,the NT is a joke. Starts at beginning of season with just SIX teams. The Final is held in the middle of winter with SIX Guests and both teams having R/R ??? Then again this is Speedway,a joke of a sport in this Country.

My answer to the topic headline is YES. I was looking forward to this season,but after a few meetings the same old problems,so stopped going. I was going to Kent so I have issues with the Club and the way it is going.... or not going more like. But to me unless there is a set day/days for fixtures. Stop doubling up. Try to reduce Guests big time. End R/R. Get rid of double points joke of a rule. There is no future for Speedway in this Country. Speedway will miss the fans,but fans will not miss Speedway. Time to act now.

Great article that sums up Speedways Problems. Diminishing attendances,continuity in fixtures,guests,R/R,doubling up etc. Says that people that get out of the habit may be lost to SS and Speedway. I have only been to a handful of meetings this year due to above and other reasons. I have seen some cracking meetings in the SGP and SWC. Shows that Speedway can be great if run properly. If Speedway does not act very soon,I and many will be lost to the sport.

That is my point. The Final should be in mid- summer,instead of later in season. I said JOKE as it is typical Speedway,fixtures all over the place. Just on slightly different subject. Great letter in SS this week. Titled `Circus Act`. And the Doubling and sometimes trebling up of Clubs for some riders. Agree fully. Look how it has effected Kent. Stoneman rides for his second team and injured. So Kent go into Mondays fixture without him and Hopwood (riding for his second team). As the letter says,no wonder people do not take Speedway seriously.
