  1. Central Park has far too many meetings that are curtailed. This is one of the reasons I do not like NL....young riders making mistakes, maybe track not too good etc etc.It all adds up to delay after delay. And the fact that Kent increased admission prices for people just to stand around with nothing happening is just wrong. There was a lot of delays last season and this hardly encourages people to go.
  2. Thinking of popping down from Kent to see this. Looks an interesting fixture and hopefully some decent Speedway. Takes me back to the 1970`s and seeing some Sunday afternoon fixtures in the Heat and dust! Though no heat wave this Sunday!
  3. You obviously do not read previous posts ?
  4. I will not go into what happened the early days. The first Team Manager was John Sampford. But only one person picks the team as far as I am concerned.Funny you should mention not winning anything as this is the seventh season in the third tier of Speedway.....and so far the team has WON nothing!
  5. I will mention one Neil`Nikko`Day was early commercial manager. He wanted to take the Club forward with modern ideas but left when this was not possible.Lovely Guy who I spoke to many times as I sponsored a rider in that first season.
  6. Again respect for what he has achieved in the sport,I just think you can go on too long running things and as far as I am concerned holding the Club back.I have said before there was good people at the Club early days but soon went.
  7. Agree and makes visits to Eastbourne more agreeable.
  8. Agree with those comments. Why is there so many delays at CP? Cannot just be the riders.....poor track prep......I always thought the track was too narrow in places?
  9. Did say it was too cold for me,glad I did not go as sounded so one sided and not good Speedway.
  10. Looks a really attractive fixture. Just a tad too cold for me at the moment
  11. With only SEVEN League fixtures at Home,Swindon is just a fixture filler otherwise there would be so few meetings!
  12. Yes,but some of the fixtures are just there to make up numbers.Like the recent Swindon fixture??? Saying that I still think £280 is too steep and not attractive to most fans.
  13. If you go to EVERY fixture then it is worth it.
  14. Seems really steep to me. I can get a ST for my football team next season for about £180! Be interesting to learn how many Kent sell.
  15. Like the way Eastbourne are going about things. Also nice there is such a Lakeside look about the team. Will try to get to a few meetings.
  16. £15 is too much for NL. OK for the top League. As you said,I think I will make trips to Eastbourne for a better quality product. Not surprised with rise at Kent with Len in charge
  17. Here goes, 1. Leon Flint BV 8.55 2. Ben Woodhull BV 4.86 3. Dan Halsey CH 6.53 4. Luke Priest SP 4.99 5. Jordan Jenkins KK 7.04 6. Nathan Ablitt KK 2.00 7. Dan Thompson L 2.00 Total 35.97
  18. Is the reason Kent are missing, because their senior team (except one) are a Development team in itself?
  19. Nothing is simple with these Councils. Hope Club gets the green light for Saturdays,as that would really boost crowds IMHO
  20. Understand that, some supporters would just like a race card. But if you do produce a programme, you need to make it interesting and have some pride in what you sell, to show the Club in a better light.IMHO
  21. Agree. Not many Clubs had a worse one in the SS programme awards.
  22. Are the new sponsors being involved with the Club Programme? Thought I read that somewhere.
