Potters' website fixture list is showing an Individuals Challenge called Pride of the NL on 15/10, which presumably is replacing the Pride of the Potteries run in previous years.
No other details at present, perhaps Derek has more ?
Hi Malcolm,
Sorry to miss you on Saturday, but realise you had your hands full.
Hope to see you tomorrow, if the weather is kind enough to let us have a meeting !
I think Port Gunner was trying to provoke a reaction, as any idiot knows you personify team spirit.
I suggested to Malcolm that he ask DT if they'd have some sort of event, even if just in the bar at Loomer, so we could thank the riders for all their efforts this year. He said it wasn't his cup of tea personally, but he would ask.
Perhaps if we started a bit earlier, and put the KOC on later, concentrating on league first we would finish easily ! Trouble is after the cut off - what's in it for the lower down teams - particularly those who don't get big crowds ?
Come and stand with vog, Craigie and myself near the 15 yard marker, you'll get no abuse from us. But bring ear plugs - Craigie and his air horn are very loud !
There is a difference between swearing and aggressive behaviour - and it is the latter which is being criticised on here and none of us like to see at any event.
A fellow Potters fan from Crewe !
Good first post - pity it had to be about such an unpleasant experience. I have always felt safe allowing my kids to roam at Loomer Rd, and hopefully the few idiots who spoil it won't be travelling on Saturday, otherwise I'll be keeping them close.
Is this a typo - is he staying in the squad, or should that read "not remain"
Feel sorry for Ben, he was trying so hard in each race - I hope he'll do well in the future
