I DID ... cannot say I noticed any real difference. But then I don't see much improvement with Sky's ultra-hd. soccer coverage. The games are no better. The grass is sharper and faces in the crowd display more definition but not much else. Will be interested to see how test cricket comes across on Thursday. Shame they are not covering The Open in 4k. Incidentally, hearing on the jungle drums that BT's Saturday audience peaked at close to 100,000, which is exceptional. Surely this week's Final will do even better than that.

THINK you are right. Thought she was very poor in Saturday. Had some long gaps to fill in with Scott but didn't seem to know what to say.

HUGE gaps at Lords yesterday for the final of one of cricket's major competitions.

ONE of those nights when it is probably far more enjoyable actually being there rather than watching on TV. -
BT very happy with viewing figures for first two domestic events and there has been a significant increase in the SGP numbers as well.

PRAGUE will run, still a year on their contract and a sell-out this year. Very popular with fans coming from all over Europe.

BEGINNING to think that a combined league is inevitable. Tracks need more fixtures, simple as that.

I DID say 'rumours' so don't get too carried away but there is certainly very strong support from all those involved.

THINK Torben was there to present the Cardiff wild card race-jacket to the winner but no doubt it would have been discussed

STRONG rumours that 2018 SWC will be at the NSS in Manchester.

AGREE about the camera position but as said previously producer Steve Saint is working with a very limited budget. Would imagine that camera towers and a hoist camera are out of the question. -

HASN'T varied much since launched... naturally more popular with overseas subscribers... cheaper and available sooner

NOT led to guess anything. The end isn't nigh...

NO... our circulation is obviously dependent on how many people attend speedway. That figure has dropped dramatically over the past five years. The lack of continuity of fixtures has also devastated track sales. If people don't attend very week (or as near as damn it) they don't buy on a regular basis. It isn't rocket science of course. I'D take those figures now

MUCH lower

WHY would it have to be in Speedway Star? And at the end of the day, as I haver said ad infinitum, my view is not worth more than anyone else, on here or elsewhere. I spoke at length to BSI and the FIM, and indeed Buckley, about the New Zealand wild card situation but, let's face it, their options were very limited. Bunyan was very popular in NZ, especially Auckland, and did a great PR job which is why Buckley wanted him and there was nothing in the rules to prevent it. But it left a sour taste in my mouth but that didn't count and nor should it.
