  1. SAD to report that Paul Parish, who was Editor of Speedway Star between 1963 and 1979, died last week. A tribute to Paul will appear in SS this and next week. He was a terrific colleague for many years and have very many happy memories of our time together.
  2. WHERE we send them ... believe it is Scotland. Will try for an exact address
  3. TWO copies sent every week although the location has changed
  4. SUB deliveries certainly seemed to have improved since Christmas
  5. Tens of thousands of people living in 28 specified areas, including swathes of London and the south East and Leeds in the North, are only getting "limited" deliveries because so many Royal Mail staff are off sick or self-isolating. Some residents on the list said they had not received post for more than a month.
  6. IF you want a link to the digital version email ssdigital@pinegen.co.uk with your name and postcode
  7. SORRY to hear that .. if you cannot get through email dave@pinegen.co.uk with your phone no and he will call back
  8. DIDN'T know he was ill so came as a shock. Had lots of dealings with him when he was the referee at SGP rounds. Nice guy. RIP
  9. IN SS this week... Tai says he is backing Dan in Wroclaw this year, his mechanics will set up his bikes, use Tai's engines, etc
  10. THANKS ... we really do appreciate all those who have stuck with us during these troubled times. Subscription sales have held up quite well but retail sales (newsagents, supermarkets, etc) fell off a cliff around April, recovered slightly, but have been on a downward spiral again since November.
  11. FROM a google site ... Once someone is vaccinated for COVID-19, their body should naturally develop antibodies that correspond with the virus and ward off future infection, but it’s still not clear how long those antibodies will last.
  12. HAVE seen estimates of a minimum of nine months but only time will tell. Need to be positive ...
  13. WILL enquire although pretty sure Kindle isn't an option.
  14. QUITE right, that's why the address sheet is there.
  15. HAVE stated before that over 95 per cent of mags arrive on a Thursday or Friday so not so sure your argument about shrink wrapped mags stands up on a national basis.
