  1. BSI are working on the assumption that it will be behind closed doors. If Government regulations change and allow a limited audience then perhaps they will go along that road.
  2. MADSEN says it is not easy to pass and you have to gate ... just after MJJ went from first to last.
  3. ONE of the most striking features about Polish keague meetings, even with reduced crowds, is how young the spectators are compared with the UK.
  4. EDDIE Toogood - who was at one time Briggo's mechanic - sold SS at Wimbledon and Eastbourne as well as Hackney. A great character and a lovely man.
  5. I BELIEVE he pleaded not guilty and awaiting a trial date
  6. NOT sure it is much different from a soccer star getting injured during training and missing a few matches.
  7. I AGREE - Adams and Gollob stand out. But if Bewley basically has nothing else to do you can surely understand why he resorts to something he loves and under normal circumstances would help him keep fit.
  8. YOUR point would be more valid if Bewley had a full racing calendar but recently he has no rides anyway including Poland so hardly surprising that a young kid who loves riding motorbikes and has plenty of free time he gets the BMX out.
  9. DOUBT whether that is true. Without Terry Russell's initial efforts there would have been no Sky deal in the first place. He was entitled to commission then, as would anyone who brought in millions. It was Terry who kept the deal going and the promoters were happy to continuing paying commission. It was only when certain parties thought they could do better without Terry that the Sky deal started to falll out of bed.
  10. SADLY no ... the magazine is printed in two sections .... 32 and 16.As previously stated, if and hopefully when sales reach a certain level we will re-examine. Pinegen's revenue from retail sales of SS in April were the lowest on record and have only marginally improved since. Once again, our sincere thanks to everyone who has continue to purchase SS through these extremely difficult times.
  11. I THINK it has been mentioned that Royal Mail have recently been handed down a massive fine for late first class deliveries...
  12. THAT decision is in the hands of the various governments not the FIM, BSI or PZM...
  13. I WENT two weeks not getting mine through the mail until Monday ... this week's arrived this morning!
  14. PAPER is different. We actually didn't expect it this week. Obviously the past four months have had a devastating effect on sales of SS through newsagents, supermarkets, etc. And savings had to be made on top of furloughing some production staff. Our printers offered us a slightly thinner and cheaper paper that would also help with postage and freight charges. We were assured that it would not have a detrimental effect on the appearance of the content (pictures, etc) and I don't think it does. We plan to review the situation again later in the year when, hopefully, there will have been a pic k up in retail sales with people more able to get out and about to shops, etc.
  15. AUGUST 1st is too soon if the intention is to run six SPGs in Poland over three weeks and hopefully with a 50 per cent crowd capacity.
  16. DEFINITELY not Bydgoszcz this year (shame) ... Torun and Wroclaw surely with a number of options for a third Polish venue if required. Prague still a likely double header weekend.
  17. LOKEREN 50 years ago ... special feature in SS this week
  18. AGREE ... double header in Prague, three double headers in Poland would be my guess (and it is exactly that)
