  1. IT is the FIM who homologate the tyres. And the FIM who check them at every meeting. No favours there.
  2. NOT singling Havvy out, just an example of why so many World Finals were never actually decided in the final race of the night.
  3. ONLY a hint ... don't understand the FIM argument to formalise all systems of scoring across the various disciplines. Speedway is different. Accept it and move on.
  4. THE last race of the meeting should always determine the winner. Gary Havelock won his World title in Heat 17 ... the last three races were pointless. After several different systems over the years, the most recent prior to tonight worked just fine.
  5. HE can now. When he won the GP Challenge at Vojens many moons ago he only spoke Russian and we had no chance with the interview. Really nice guy. Had a tough time in the SGP early on but has come back so well.
  6. WAS the FIM's idea and insistence but agree that it shouldn't have been changed. No longer does every point count in the race to the actual World title.

  8. TOMMY and I always agreed that his best performance was for Denmark in the 1985 World Team Cup Final in Long Beach, USA. Sensational...
  9. TOMMY Knudsen was unlucky to be riding in the Gundersen/Nielsen era, followed by Jan O.Pedersen.
  10. GB and next year's SGP. Made even worse by KK starting with a win.
  11. NOT a good start with Ellis, Laguta and. Michaelsen all failing to score

  13. GIVEN his number of SGP wins I think Emil already is ...
  14. THANKS ... it is a battle to keep our heads above water right now
  15. COOK has previously made it through a much tougher GP Challenge than this one.
  16. THEY could run with all British officials but, of course, the riders are a different kettle of fish although surely the F1 meetings at Silverstone have set a precedent with no restrictions on the drivers.
  17. AS previously stated, BSI/FIM are pressing ahead on the assumption that there will be no paying spectators
