  1. WHY? Harris does nothing for them. But good luck to him. He's there by right.
  2. SADLY that is the case. Plenty of us have tried but seem too be banging our heads against a brick wall.
  3. WAS it in a GP? You may well be right but thought it was a Polish league match...
  4. BUT if you had looked on the day it would have been at the top!
  5. NOT at liberty to say but if I had to put money on any track right now it would be Gorzow. Although in Poland anything can happen.
  6. AGREE ... very strange choice for reserve. Lindback a non-brainer for wild card.
  7. OF course, especially if the conditions are a bit rough. He is the 'Andy Smith' of his day. But one thing I can tell you. He won't get a wild card if he doesn't make it.
  8. NOT sure about that. Know of at least two other Polish tracks vying for a GP, which is another reason why Witkowski's words (only SGPs in Poland) didn't go down well.
  9. QUITE often talked about at SGP rider briefings ... riders tell referee that as the meeting progresses and the ruts get deeper it is impossible to be right at the tapes.
  10. EMIL hasn't ruled out the SGP for 2016 but did decline a wild card slot at Rybnik. With the tragic injuries to Darcy Ward, a return to the SGP by Emil would give the series a massive boost.
  11. MAYBE they are making some sort of special offer to 2015 tickets holders for next year's event. All sorts of rumours floating around Gorzow at the weekend but nothing official though one Polish journo suggested a press conference early in October.
  12. WHATEVER the rulebook may or may not say, the accepted practice is that a rider shall remain stationary until the tapes go up but there is obviously a very fine line between those who do move while not touching the tapes and those who just react the quickest.
  13. WELL, that would be down to the PZM, who sold the tickets, but are they liable if the meeting went to Heat 12?
  14. POLISH clubs not happy with Witkowski's remark ... Gorzow by no means out of the frame for 2016, especially after Saturday's event, which made them money. Both Torun and Warsaw have on-going contracts. Expect some announcements about Warsaw 2016 shortly.
  15. YOU are right is Sky in New Zealand but ultimately Sky/Fox the same
  16. I THINK Fox also show it live, as they now do in New Zealand ... LIKE this you mean ... http://speedwaygp.com/news/article/4398/gorzow-tv-guide
  17. I KNOW Australia is a big country but you cannot be looking very hard...
  18. ONE GP rider testing one this week. But Kelvin, who rides one when doing track testing before some GPs, still feels there is additional work to be done.
  19. HE wasn't really chosen as such ... showed an interest in trying one at Prague when Gerhard and Kelvin Tatum first publicly tested the engine and it sort of went from there. Kelvin, it has to be said, wasn't keen on that arrangement progressing and has taken a step backwards, for the very reasons alluded to above, but the next rider to try one might be better able to take the project forward.
  20. GTR are aiming both for an engine that is competitive at the highest level and also much cheaper to maintain for riders no matter where they ride. Still work being done to improve but another GP rider likely to give it a private test this week with a view to using it in the series. Chris Harris has actually been rather fortunate ... has five engines to use and no service bills as they are still being adapted by Marcel.
