PERSONALLY would agree with those... Janowski has had a bad run but won a SGP this year and will be back. What a 2017 line-up that would be. LAGUTA has never showed any interest in doing the SGP. -
HE has a huge chip on his shoulder after Sky dumped him because no one could understand what he was saying.

Speedway In.................motor Cycle News!
PHILIPRISING replied to Little Thumper's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
YOU are right, it was Andrew who had a regular speedway/grasstrack column. More recently Tony Hoare (ex-Speedway Star) managed to get some speedway stuff in but not on a regular basis. He has now left MCN. -
I THINK they would have realised sooner rather than later. BSI's TV production team arrive in Melbourne tomorrow and would have been in contact with BT almost immediately.

EMAILED BSI who have in turn contacted BT

France And Austria

ONCE went to a meeting in Austria with Briggo in which Bossner was the promoter, announcer, TV commentator (not live) and rider. Quite a character. -

BUT not winning speedway's ultimate prize which he is capable of. -
DON'T want to get too pedantic here but you suggested "several multi-page features" which isn't the case and can you name those tuners who have advertised in SS.

ON the contrary, hate to see such a talent go to waste and, of course, I wasn't the only one. Emil also had people pulling in the opposite direction but they seem to have relented now as well. -
SHOW me the advertising and the several multi-page features and you will have your answer

THANKS, best laugh I've had in ages.

BECAUSE neither Harris nor Lambert were prepared to work with Gerhard and provide him with the feedback he needed. Freddie has worked closely with Marcel from last winter through the current season. I'm not carrying a torch for the GTR but do advocate anything that brings down costs.

VERY harsh on Doyle. Mediocre he ain't

YOUR understanding of slagging is very different to mind. Have criticised his lack of ambition and the reasons why he wouldn't compete at the highest level but have always been at the front of the queue wanting him back in the SGP as he would probably tell you given the number of conversations we have had on the matter. -

I DON'T pick the wild cards But would be VERY surprised if the FIM didn't welcome him back with open arms and doubt that BSI would have any objection either. -
YOU are assuming that a tuner can get it to go faster. No one has suggested it is the fastest out there, better than a PJR or the very much in vogue Graversen (Doyle). At a time when most riders, including some in the SGP, are concerned at how much they are spending on frequent expensive services, it is obviously an attractive proposition as it is. Many riders currently purchasing a bog standard GM then despatch to the likes of Peter Johns, Flemming Graversen, Jan Andersson, etc, who replace many of its components with what they consider to be better and considerably more expensive ones. Marcel has attempted to cut that out and supply an engine that already has the finest materials in-built and doesn't require taking up a level. I have admitted many times on here that no one knows less about the workings on any engine let alone a speedway one and have no particular reason to beat the GTR drum but the proof does appear to be in the eating.

TERRIFIC news that Emil Sayfutdinov wants to resume his SGP career. What an addition to the 2017 line-up he will be. -
THE real market for the GTR is 'bread and butter' riders who would be more than happy with its competitiveness and reliability and not having to try and get a tuner to squeeze a bit more speed out of it. Not having to spend unnecessary money over the course of a season would bring its own rewards. As for GP riders, sure they might try and improve it further but that would be a matter for them. Lindgren hasn't and hasn't seemed down on speed in GPs. The rest is up to him. Certainly some of his GP colleagues are taking a closer look but, at present, there is very limited availability of the engines.
-
WHO is nobody? Harris hasn't got one and, as far as I know, neither, has Lambert. Why should Lindgren, or a couple of National League riders for that matter, lie? Have you got a hidden agenda here?

BT probably not taking the world feed on this occasion with KT and NP doing their commentary. Latest word I had from Melbourne is that Jason Doyle's untimely injury will have a significant impact on sales ... can no longer promote on the basis of a possible/probable Aussie World Champion being crowned at the Etihad. Big blow for them and Jason of course.
