REMINISCENT of races at Hyde Road ... if only all tracks could produce entertainment of that level attendances would rocket. -

FROM my own experience of working at many SGPs in Krsko there is no lack of English speaking officials there. -

MORE like a wet squid. Spoke to Kelvin Tatum this morning and he was amazed when they started watering the track throughout the day. Although the weather was beautiful the previous days had seen torrential rain. The river that runs behind the stadium had burst its banks. He says they should have run a short practice in the morning to turn the track surface over and then set about grading it for the evening. You only had to see how Nicki Pedersen was covered in dirt without completing half a lap to appreciate how over-watered it was. The fault lies with those responsible for track preparation, ultimately Phil Morris, during the day but they made a complete cock-up. At least the depth of strength in the 2017 line-up was confirmed. You could quite easily see the riders who finished ninth to 15th all make the top eight in Warsaw. And has a SGP season every started with the three riders on the rostrum having coming through the GP Challenge. -

BUSY week for Bewley ... five meetings in six days. Just what the youngsters need. -
TOO true John...

THAT'S good to hear although even in a Bank Holiday week, such as this one, the mag still leaves Surbiton at 10am on a Wednesday. WITH regard's to tyretrax's dilemma, we haver spoked to Royal Mail and they say that all copies are forwarded from the sorting office at the same time (obviously) and they cannot put a trace on one copy to ascertain where the delay is occurring.
-
SORRY to hear that

I HAVE never said Gordon and Morton did nothing wrong and if you have read everything SS has published you will know that they have admitted to many mistakes. MEANING?

BELIEVE that last year's tyres are now permitted. Another knee-jerk decision by the BSPA that has backfired.
-
DON'T know who she is but quite possibly. BSI have two female interviewers lined up for the SGP this year.
-
THANKS ... will pass on to our distribution company
-
EXPECT less interviews during the meeting, more analysis at the end, time permitting.
-
WE shall be adding more features in the near future.
-
NOT doing the SGPs ... just the domestic stuff.
-
STEVE Brandon will be doing interviews although the format of the coverage will be different too Sky. Natalie will present ...
-
THANKS guys ... good to know
-
DON'T think she will be involved in the domestic meetings

SINCE changing the method by which Speedway Xtra is loaded onto the web, our free online magazine should now be available right across the digital spectrum, including laptops, notepads, smartphones, etc no matter what operating system they use. Each week Xtra includes a round-up of speedway news from the BSPA and BSI (SGP and SWC), features that because of space constraints have not been included in Speedway Star and a special section showcasing the best of speedway photography which looks stunning in a digital version. Take a look now at… http://content.yudu.com/libraryHtml/A42ugi/xtra254April82017/reader.html?refid=130161&refUrl=http%253A%252F%252Fwww.speedwaystar.net%252Fxtra I know that previously some people have had difficulty accessing this and would be curious to know whether that is still the case.

WOULDN'T argue with that. Not the most dynamic personality or exciting rider to watch necessarily but his record in the SGP underlines his potential. It's a confidence thing with Kenneth, as it is with most, and when he's on a high he is World class.
