I’ll be there without doubt season but looking how teams are shaping up I don’t think home advantage will help as much and if we are going to be successful hard changes will have to be made quick. When we travelled up to Redcar we found it very FTG. the only prob was that we never gated. If I remember rightly David Howe got carted off to hospital and Ryan Douglas who had landed that day from oz couldn’t do more than 3 laps without nodding off oops I mean falling off. True.I always think about just signing riders but if they don’t like track or think they are worth more these are all snagging points. I’m just really great full we have speedway and it’s always great entertainment. It’s better to have a team that want to be there then individuals who expect.

May of not been the best teams in the 70s and 80s but as a kid I was always gutted when it rained on a Monday and we missed our speedway when it’s in your heart it stays there forever

We don’t know costs or budgets. All we see is 1-7 teams and so put our opinions over. Don’t think it will stop people going or lessen the quality of the racing but with all teams in any sport there is scope to improve.

Admittedly there will a plus but I think will only be when the res average goes up n he drops back to reserve. Jus IMO. he has been a good team player and captained well this season
