  1. They're not averages. Barrow boy has his own rating system.
  2. I know what you're getting at, to give the number 8 a chance but its not fair to say one side has to cover an injured heat leader with a 3.00 rider but the other team can be at full strength or their injured rider is fifth in the averages. Its not like for like replacements, which at least R/R tries to give teams.
  3. The irony of Grondal R/R! Could have been Allen R/R and then Ulrich could've taken a ride as well.
  4. Surely the perfect rider to replace him was Hopwood. But now there's no-one out there, as Cradley have found to replace Greaves.
  5. A meeting between Mildenhall and a Danish touring team.
  6. Having seen both 'in the flesh' I think Zach has improved more during this season but BWD started at a higher standard. But they're 2 very different riders with wry different backgrounds.
  7. Great to see Cottham finally back racing! I see you have Buxton away in a couple of weeks and Cottham flies round there.
  8. I think Basford deserves this proper chance. Against Eastbourne he was facing the best bottom 3 in the league and many a more experienced reserve has been beaten at home by their lowest averaged rider in Dugard. But riding against Hunter and Halder will show Kent fans better where he's at.
  9. In the declarations effective July 1st he is second, which is issue 10. Between the July averages being released and them becoming effective both Tedham and Hopwood were signed under June averages so a new copy was released as issue 9a and this is what you and guitar_art are looking at and confusing yourselves. But they are not the effective July averages that see Perry second!
  10. That's not correct. Tom is second on 8.96 and Zach on 8.87.
  11. Extance leaving is true and he was dropped, he didn't quit.
  12. Yes that's why I said used to be. Yes that's why I said used to be.
  13. There used to be an age limit (not that I'm sure it was legal) and it was 1 rider over 30.
  14. Kyle says he's not allowed PL guest bookings. He can't double up as he's over 25 so he'd have to do PL only but on his old average.
  15. Even at the start of the season (when riders can't be split by the criteria Alan points out) you can't move riders up and down from reserve meeting by meeting as you would have to declare the order you want them in and they stay like that until the averages change ie Birmingham declared Banks 5th in the averages at the start of the season so he had to stay in the top 5 until Wajtknecht and/or Wilson's average went above him.
  16. As this meeting is knock-out cup, its 2 legs and overall winner goes through to the next round. It was a different competition (National Trophy) on the other thread!
  17. I've just realised the cut-off is the 20th now (23rd last season) and the Mildenhall meeting was the 21st!
  18. Confirmed on twitter that Rye have Morley.
  19. Not using the averages on the Heathens' own website. His good performance at Mildenhall will keep in the top 5 (he was sixth before that). Their own site says Clegg 9.53, Williamson 8.27, Greaves 7.08, Perks 5.67, Neale 5.08, Mogridge 5.00, Harris 3.00 (2.92).
  20. Aggregate bonus point doesn't exist anymore. Is a National Trophy meeting and normal league scoring applies: 3 for home win, 1 for home draw, 2 for away draw, 1 for away loss by 6 or less, 3 for away win 1-6 & 4 for away win 7+.
  21. Why is Parker missing? Phillips is dreadful, he won't beat a rider.
  22. Don't feel that you can't pitstop. I'm sure others will agree when I say your opinion on the NL is valued.
  23. Jack Smith has ridden an MDL meeting since his trip to Cradley but withdrew from his last ride because of a bang on the wrist and a bent bike. He came second in his first, then fell in his next.
  24. You have to declare a number 8 as part of your team but he doesn't have to turn up for meetings. Its purely down to the management who is declared as a number 8 for a meeting. Or you can use another teams, like Cradley used King's Lynn's number 8 today! Also if a number 8 is declared in a meeting he can only take R/R rides.
  25. It means he can't guest in the PL as an 'NL only' guest, ie when a PL team has no facility. The ruling doesn't affect the NL at all so just ignore it.
