But indirectly that isn't the NL's problem. The NL needs to keep itself competitive and make sure it has enough riders to go round and upping the average to 5.00 helps with this. The NL is doing it's bit for rider development but these riders can't get PL places, look at Ellis last year and Morris, Nielsen & Branford this year. It's better for them to race NL than nothing at all or just Elite League.
How stupid does that article make him sound haha! I've signed 6 riders but I don't know where the 7th decent one will come from so I've messed up the averages and we'll do poorly again???
Exactly. He was legal to ride NL last year and ALL NL riders step up to the PL on a 3.00. This year is a different story as you need a British passport to ride NL, but BWD already has done so it just stops him in the future.
Stefan Nielsen and Ben Wilson are 2 more riders that this rule could benefit.
I agree that it helps the NL but for rider development Ash should have a PL place from the start! The PL number 7s rule has helped a lot of riders but then ones like Morris, Nielsen, Branford, Wilson, Hawkins & Bowen can't get a place.
If those teams hadn't have selected them then they might not have teams and there's some improvement in that list. Then they'd be facing not riding PL like Morris and Nielsen for example, which won't help them to improve.
That team would score 50+ everywhere! Holt looks a certainty, I wouldn't be surprised if Williamson's average priced him out of Cradley's team, Boxall's PL average is too high and can't do NL, I doubt they'll let Bickley in, Widman I assume will be at Smallbrook and if Payne joins then I wonder where Stoke's heat leaders will come from.
Previously that's only applied to PL riders. If it includes EL as well now it would probably only exclude Stefan Nielsen from the NL.

The people on the logo are warriors.
Adam will be PL and EL only.
We needed a number 1 and I wouldn't be surprised to see most of them at the same team they were at this year. Plus he seems to go better around big tracks to me. I would've liked Tim Webster but I won't be surprised if he doesn't ride this year again.
Welcome to James and welcome back to BDJ. I'd like something along the lines of Widman at 2, Marc Owen at 5 with a 3 pointer and Cottham at reserve. But some new names, to supplement the old, would be nice.
