That would be ideal however most tracks in the UK rent the stadium they operate in, take Swindon, the stadium owner runs a bags greyhound meeting (ones that are piped into bookies for inday betting) on Monday afternoons and there is not enough time to cover the greyhound track after to run speedway. Seen as they make more out of these meeting than they do in stadium rent for speedway then there's no way they'll give up that payday. We need to be happy that they bust a gut once in while to allow SKY to run a televised meeting on a Monday Night. Tuesday night - Out due to Sweden Wednesday night - Out due to greyhound racing Thursday night - our race night Friday night - out due to greyhound racing Saturday night - out due to greyhound racing Sunday afternoon/night - out due to Poland Many other clubs are in the same position but with different nights affected, hence why sadly we don't have a fixed race night!

Hi folks, i was just wondering what everyone's view was who went to the GP on the quality of the sound system, i found myself on the middle tier on bends 3 and 4 and for the whole evening could not understand a single word that was being announced or even most of the words to songs being played, i really can't remember it being this poor at previous GP's or even when i've been sat there watching rugby matches. Was it just my section or was the whole stadium blighted with poor sound quality and if so who is responsable for it at GP events ?????

So you never noticed that it was still a southern hemisphere ref who gave many biased penalties to the wallibies in the final then,lol. Oh and i agree, a bloody good meeting to watch, i have a friend who has never seen speedway who was gripped by it and is now chomping at the bit to see our beautifull sport live and thats got to be a good thing for the sport, just a real shame sky don't show more meetings other than gps and elite over the course of a week.
