  1. You live and learn, .............then again I guess you might not!
  2. Unlike the weather here, the forecast looks perfect (famous last words!!!). Hope it's a cracking meeting.
  3. Haven't we always been known as Great Britain in the Speedway World Cup, even back to those halycon days when Airey, Briggs, Mauger and Moore were winning the trophy for our blessed Albion.
  4. Disappointed.........no.........expected yes. Plus point (singular), Barker, not so much for his performance, which was encouraging, but more for the 'experience' at mixing it at that level. But why oh why, can't we ride in Poland, and or flat/fast tracks abroad. It happens year after year, and don't gove me the reason that it doesn't suit us, that just doesn't wash.
  5. Looking at what you've posted ManchesterPaul, I'd say the Lagutas could ride as they have fallen fowl of not having visas i.e. force majure, but Sayfutdinov appears to have 'made himself' unavailable.
  6. Charlie to Hampel" we're the Poles getting nervy over Britains comeback?", ...........sorry that really does take the biscuit........ah biscuits.
  7. Think we're a bit lucky with that one, didn't appear to me that Dryml did anything wrong.
  8. At least we're pulling away from the Russians. Soouper Speedway!!!
  9. Commentary and Sky presentation was as expected, as was the Vojens track and the racing, which would have proved a lot poorer without the Antipodean Tyro. Evrything will be crossed hoping that the Boys go straight through on Monday night, as I'd really fear for them up against Sweden and Australia in the play off. Also I trust that no one tampers with Boycies programme in the play offs, underhand Scandinavians!!
  10. Concur, i.e. Bomber or Tai, in the event of the formers non-qualification
  11. Very sorry state of affairs that we have no Brits progressing. Obviously all our hopes now rest with Bomber finding GP form to qualify for next year. That said these 'semis' appear to be very hard fought, and I would sincerely hope that the 'younger' qualifiers progress to nest years GP series to add some spice.
