  1. Jack Smith in for Ace on Saturday, did well at Redcar and as a Glasgow asset, this is his chance to shine, not expecting him to get 10 points but if he can get something in heat 2 and at least challenge opposition number 7, that will be a start. I remember when he joined Glasgow a few years back, I think he relied on his Dad's reputation, but he has grown up somewhat since then and he can gate, so good luck to the lad
  2. When Lebedevs slammed into the back of him
  3. Good grief, what utter tosh is being spouted on this forum, can we please get back to the matter in hand and talk about speedway and not pages of drivel and one upmanship, honestly it is worse the kids in a playground.
  4. Glasgow did a Matt Ford move, they learned from the best, granted Tarasenko strengthened Glasgow, however we are still very weak at reserve and have a habit of capitulating in important meetings
  5. Watched this on the stream, did well to get 12 heats in before the heavens opened, great to see Tom back in the points and special mention to Jack Smith who did very well
  6. I think it is down to rider availability, Glasgow would not choose to go mid week as it affects crowd levels
  7. My thoughts regarding heat 15 are that Bomber and Basso had only 4 rides until then, both Tom and Vadim got an r/r ride, so Cammy gave the extra ride to Chris and Ben, there was nothing at stake, getting the bonus point was meaningless so give the pairs winners an extra ride. Tarasenko was tremendous though, didn't expect him to be that good, there again I don't watch Polish speedway. Another point, we would not have made any changes if Marcin had stayed, granted that change has strengthened us, but what we did is perfectly legal, I am sure that rule will be changed for next season.
  8. What a meeting, we have seen some extraordinary racing at Ashfield this season, but tonight tops the lot. It takes 2 teams to provide the excitement, so well done Oxford for making a match of it, Tarasenko, just wow , could watch him all day, shame the season is almost over.
  9. Can you stop being a pratt, giving Glasgow a bad name, there is no need to make derogatory comments about lisa Collette
  10. We seem to have the hardest task, someone doesn't like us
  11. Not surprised that Richard out, that was a horrible fall at Redcar, reckon his knee will be twice normal size today, struggled after the off and was visibly wincing as he walked off
  12. The group of death will be the most exciting one and whovever gets throught that deserves to win, IMO Poole will still get the league, you are really good at team building, we are still in the learning curve but after numerous years at the bottom of the table it is nice to be at least challenging at the top end, we still have a way to go to get the right formula but we will persevere
  13. Are you worried that you will be in the group of death with us and Redcar
  14. True, it rains all the time, you are lucky down there with the weather
  15. Same every season, big lull in the summer with no matches then crazy run into Autumn when weather has a lot to play. Couldn't even get 8 home matches in. How did we manage in the past when there were 18 or 19 in the league
  16. Glasgow have strengthened up, however that doesn't mean we will win the league, also we don't know how long Ace will be out, we have a habit of capitulating, it would be nice to win though, been a long time.
  17. The Danes together are a great pairing
  18. Think there will be a new rule for next season to prevent this happening again, fair play to Glasgow for finding a loophole, makes a change for us to manipulate the rules
  19. Probably rearranged Polish meeting
  20. Really ! You seem to have a grudge against Lisa Collette, by all means criticize the post but leave out the personal insults, she is just supporting her team
