  1. Watched this on bsn , after 2 heats I thought that we were going to lose, but the boys stepped up well and tbh we got quite a bit of luck, which we have not got last few years, hope Sedgy is Ok, he looked a bit groggy after that off, and poor Connor has had an awful night, was well impressed with Jason Edwards, he would have been my man of the match. Very bad timing for the bears to lose Charles at the play offs, wishing him a full recovery. As a Glasgow fan I am delighted with the result, need to do it all again on Tuesday against Oxford. Good luck to the bears in the KO cup
  2. Surely if a team loses points based on weather cancellation, that can be challenged legally, season has until end of October to be completed, I would be extremely angry to lose out because of rain, West of Scotland and Manchester get more than their fair share of rain throughout the year
  3. I thought it strange having bomber in 1 and Emil in 3, I would have put them the other way round
  4. The guy who used to do the job moved on to work with Celtic football, tbh he is a great miss at Glasgow as he did the job well,
  5. We got ripped by Poole too, and tbf Poole are better at our place than Scunthorpe, but first of all we need to get through the group of death
  6. Jack Smith in for Ace on Saturday, did well at Redcar and as a Glasgow asset, this is his chance to shine, not expecting him to get 10 points but if he can get something in heat 2 and at least challenge opposition number 7, that will be a start. I remember when he joined Glasgow a few years back, I think he relied on his Dad's reputation, but he has grown up somewhat since then and he can gate, so good luck to the lad
  7. When Lebedevs slammed into the back of him
  8. Good grief, what utter tosh is being spouted on this forum, can we please get back to the matter in hand and talk about speedway and not pages of drivel and one upmanship, honestly it is worse the kids in a playground.
  9. Glasgow did a Matt Ford move, they learned from the best, granted Tarasenko strengthened Glasgow, however we are still very weak at reserve and have a habit of capitulating in important meetings
  10. Watched this on the stream, did well to get 12 heats in before the heavens opened, great to see Tom back in the points and special mention to Jack Smith who did very well
  11. I think it is down to rider availability, Glasgow would not choose to go mid week as it affects crowd levels
  12. My thoughts regarding heat 15 are that Bomber and Basso had only 4 rides until then, both Tom and Vadim got an r/r ride, so Cammy gave the extra ride to Chris and Ben, there was nothing at stake, getting the bonus point was meaningless so give the pairs winners an extra ride. Tarasenko was tremendous though, didn't expect him to be that good, there again I don't watch Polish speedway. Another point, we would not have made any changes if Marcin had stayed, granted that change has strengthened us, but what we did is perfectly legal, I am sure that rule will be changed for next season.
  13. What a meeting, we have seen some extraordinary racing at Ashfield this season, but tonight tops the lot. It takes 2 teams to provide the excitement, so well done Oxford for making a match of it, Tarasenko, just wow , could watch him all day, shame the season is almost over.
  14. Can you stop being a pratt, giving Glasgow a bad name, there is no need to make derogatory comments about lisa Collette
  15. We seem to have the hardest task, someone doesn't like us
  16. Not surprised that Richard out, that was a horrible fall at Redcar, reckon his knee will be twice normal size today, struggled after the off and was visibly wincing as he walked off
  17. The group of death will be the most exciting one and whovever gets throught that deserves to win, IMO Poole will still get the league, you are really good at team building, we are still in the learning curve but after numerous years at the bottom of the table it is nice to be at least challenging at the top end, we still have a way to go to get the right formula but we will persevere
  18. Are you worried that you will be in the group of death with us and Redcar
  19. True, it rains all the time, you are lucky down there with the weather
