  1. Really ? Don't think Glasgow will finish 3rd bottom, changes will be made if riders not performing
  2. So glad my fave has a team place, I reckon Craig will be back to his best in 2024 and Workington track will suit him, he has had a couple of difficult years, Hope he has a cracking season even though I am a Glasgow supporter
  3. James Pearson now announced, Tigers have a full team
  4. Ok, hope to see you at Northside next season, you will likely have my no 1 rider in your team, so no criticism from me
  5. Yeah, you seem to have haters too, as well as us and Poole
  6. I see that you are still very bitter about Glasgow, its been nice not seeing all your bitter posts for last few years. I suppose now that Workington are back in championship you will be infesting our threads again. I am glad Workington are back in championship and look forward to visiting when the Tigers are in town. Maybe you could say hello and find out that we are not the nasty folk that you think we are, or is it jealousy of our owners that is your problem. 2018 was a fantastic year for your team, shame how it ended, We would have went bust years ago if the Facenna's hadn't taken over, but thankfully they did and we have fantastic racing at Ashfield now.
  7. To be fair Paul has usually done very well for us in the past, although a bit injury prone , however with good machinery, he should definitely increase his current average.
  8. Won't announce when this season's team is here
  9. Wont be a fixture clash as premiership has protected nights and Championship cant race on them
  10. Spot on Lisa, he was asked by Glasgow but couldn't decide if he was giving up championship and Glasgow didn't want to wait for a decision and miss out on team building
  11. I see the silly season has started, I very much doubt that the Cooks would leave Poole, bet they are both there in 24
  12. I very much doubt that Steve deliberately didn't do his best, even if he knew he was no longer in Poole's plan, I also doubt he was tapped up either as it appears to me that he was disappointed and wanted to say goodbye personally to the Poole fans, wherever he ends up I am sure he will give 100% and if it is Glasgow then he will be made welcome.
  13. Well done Scunthorpe, and what a season Simon Lambert has had, enjoy the evening Scunny fans
  14. I agree that Tom is at least a year away from being consistent enough to give up championship
  15. I would take Borke in a minute, impressive around Glasgow, reminded me of Basso when we first got him
  16. Our problem with Marcin was that his Polish team rode on Saturdays and practice was Fridays, which he missed due to riding at Glasgow and was fined by his Polish club for missing practice. Marcin was hugely popular at Glasgow and was improving week on week, especially when you think that his first meeting at Berwick he struggled to get round and scored zero, his last meeting he scored a faultless maximum. His Polish club at that time were doing well and had reached the playoffs, and as he was captain of the team they recalled him and we were left a bit in the lurch, fortunately it worked out well with signing Tarasenko, would never have happened if Marcin had stayed.
  17. Glasgow only signed Tarasenko due to Marcin leaving, there would have been no change if Marcin was not recalled by his Polish team. Granted the change did strengthen us, due mainly by moving Tom to 2 with Bomber, at the same time we lost our power house pairing of Claus and Ben and that lost us points
  18. A tasteless thread, love them or hate them, Poole has been the most successful team in speedway and every team should aspire to be at their level, when we lost to Poole a couple of years ago, Glasgow fans congratulated them, there was no animosity, we have fought to get to their level and we achieved it this season. I would hope that some Poole fans would have congratulated the travelling support as there are some really nice Poole fans, lets face it all teams have 1 or 2 that go too far. Poole are not finished yet they still have the KO cup to fight for,and already have the BSN trophy. As for Glasgow, we have put a lot in to upgrading facilities and stadium, and it is not extra money for riders from management, they try to get sponsorship for riders, anyway I am going to enjoy this season and look forward to the fight next season.
