  1. 39.5 I believe, we were on 37.42 but Jack Smith goes up to 5.44 this Friday hence changes had to be made before then
  2. Why is everyone saying Jack will be over 5? Is that including bonus points then?
  3. Jack will be in main body and Pearson will be at reserve , I should think as Jack goes up to over 5
  4. Tate Zische as he is injured and out for the season
  5. So Worrall out tonight with labrynthitis, have had that, horrible when it hits, this is second time he has had it this season, going to be difficult to keep it close without him
  6. Will we make 30, hmm, thought we might have made changes since we are below starting averages and if you take away reduction for all the Brits , our fall in averages is even more disturbing.
  7. Don't think you are allowed to bring someone back if they have been dropped, except for returning from injury
  8. Steve does better at 2,being at 5 in premiership is not his level, TM tactics lost brum the match imo
  9. Berwick always do the Ben fund collection when Glasgow are in town, fair play to them for doing so as they always get a good donation
  10. Didn't think we would have pulled off a win, but well done Tiggers, if only Leon could ride like that at Glasgow, was good actually seeing the heatleaders score points, loving Jack Smith's tenacity and hope he has a great season, our weak points are obvious and even Ace seems to have gone backwards. A change is definitely needed, but the question is, who is out there?
  11. Connor Mountain took 4 in a row last week for Belle vue
  12. Alan Dick did not want foreigners due to the extreme difficulty in reorganising rain offs last season with most of our riders in various leagues
  13. You will finish above us, at least you are not favourite for the wooden spoon
  14. Our season is going nowhere which is disappointing after last year's success , we sorely miss the excitement and scoring power of Basso, he was worth entrance money alone. Dropping the points limit so dramatically has affected us more than most as had to lose a few, not bringing back Claus was a major faux pax, I think Tom was always going to leave. We only have 1 exciting racer in the team in Chris Harris and he can't do it all, as for changes, where would they come from as not a lot out there. The added 1.5 increase from anyone in the prem coming in does hinder progress for some of the youngsters like Anders Rowe who is not a 7 plus championship rider but is now saddled with that average. The powers that be have destroyed the championship to benefit the premiership. Championship has been the better league for so long, as for Glasgow ,we should have gone up and kept most of last year's team but alas it was not to be, I have supported the tigers when we were always in bottom 3 of the league so this year's results are not new to me , however it is frustrating when all but 2 riders have increased their average , which are James Pearson and Ace Pijper since previous green sheets. If changes are going to be made then so be it, if not lets support the team and start planning for next season, reckon we must be favourite for the wooden spoon which will please many as they think we flash the cash, which if you ask any of the riders they certainly don't.
  15. Well done Comets, great meeting and my number 1did a captain's job to win the meeting, good to see Conner having some good races too, Tate Zische is a delight to watch and will go far, Comets fans are lucky to be able to watch him every home meeting, we had that delight with Basso last season, Comets are my second team this season, was Berwick last season but you have my fave.
  16. It has changed massively, no more tight corners, multiple racing lines, racing has been the best ever so far this season, even beats Belle vue
  17. No , you have my fave no 1, Craig Cook, who I also sponsor, just ask him, and I am following Celina's progress, no bitterness on my side, I still support the tigers but will always support Cookie as well
  18. So looking at the current greensheets we are rock bottom in the averages along with Redcar and Edinburgh all sitting under 38, this season's team building was a monumental c***k up and we need to live with that, try and win all our home meetings and plan for next season, at least the racing is spectacular, we have been mince in the past, will be character building this year for sure, new fans expect to win at all costs whereas us oldies enjoyed speedway when we were bottom of the league. Good luck to my second team this season Workington, will be interesting following their exploits
  19. Its sorted , £2000 fine and 20 month ban
  20. We didn't ship anyone out last season, we got Tarasenko due to Marcin being recalled by his Polish team as they were fighting for promotion and he felt that they needed him, we would happlily have kept Marcin, he was very popular with the fans. We are now in a position that we need to replace Lee and who knows what management are thinking about that. Losing Lee has cost us big time as he was expected to do well this season but alas his speedway career looks to be finished now. And I actually hope the Comets do very well as you have my number 1 as captain and I am following Celina's progress
  21. Well done Comets, definitely dark horses for the season
  22. I hate the win at all costs attitude, we have a great venue and racetrack and yes I enjoy winning but no one will top Poole this season
