I suspect they dropped Kemp to keep Killeen, perhaps Belle Vue were looking at Killeen as a replacement for Bailey as RS, I remember Edinburgh tried to sign Killeen at last season as he had been guesting and it was not allowed by Oxford as they wanted to keep him on a 2 point average for this season, he was allowed to guest

I don't think he is fully fit either but little choice of guests, some that were tried were unavailable and with most teams racing on Friday leaves little scope, difficult when you have 2 newbies racing as well, shame about Stevie being ill, he was coming into some great form as well -
Don't think we chose that scenario but possibly only option due to availability, Eg Bomber's long track and grass track commitments

Love your wit -
Connor Bailey has posted that he is out for the rest of the season, as 1 of his sponsors I wish him a full recovery, it takes guts to admit to struggling

Dan Thomsonis doubtful, he dislocatrd his shoulder during SON 2 -
This is the worst season ever for continuity in fixtures, breaks of between 3 and 5 weeks for home fixtures is not good enough, feels like the close season already and who said yes to away to Edinburgh on the Friday and then away to Plymouth on the Saturday and it isn't Plymouth's normal race day, how come some teams managed a little Southern/ Northern tour and we get that kind of s**t. If next season is not better co-ordinated then I can see speedway going down the toilet as we will lose fans in droves as they find something else to do, in fact it has already started if you go by recent crowd numbers. Rant over, just missing live speedway !!

39.5 I believe, we were on 37.42 but Jack Smith goes up to 5.44 this Friday hence changes had to be made before then
-
Why is everyone saying Jack will be over 5? Is that including bonus points then?
-
Jack will be in main body and Pearson will be at reserve , I should think as Jack goes up to over 5

Will we make 30, hmm, thought we might have made changes since we are below starting averages and if you take away reduction for all the Brits , our fall in averages is even more disturbing. -
Don't think you are allowed to bring someone back if they have been dropped, except for returning from injury

Berwick always do the Ben fund collection when Glasgow are in town, fair play to them for doing so as they always get a good donation -

Didn't think we would have pulled off a win, but well done Tiggers, if only Leon could ride like that at Glasgow, was good actually seeing the heatleaders score points, loving Jack Smith's tenacity and hope he has a great season, our weak points are obvious and even Ace seems to have gone backwards. A change is definitely needed, but the question is, who is out there? -

Alan Dick did not want foreigners due to the extreme difficulty in reorganising rain offs last season with most of our riders in various leagues
-
You will finish above us, at least you are not favourite for the wooden spoon

Our season is going nowhere which is disappointing after last year's success , we sorely miss the excitement and scoring power of Basso, he was worth entrance money alone. Dropping the points limit so dramatically has affected us more than most as had to lose a few, not bringing back Claus was a major faux pax, I think Tom was always going to leave. We only have 1 exciting racer in the team in Chris Harris and he can't do it all, as for changes, where would they come from as not a lot out there. The added 1.5 increase from anyone in the prem coming in does hinder progress for some of the youngsters like Anders Rowe who is not a 7 plus championship rider but is now saddled with that average. The powers that be have destroyed the championship to benefit the premiership. Championship has been the better league for so long, as for Glasgow ,we should have gone up and kept most of last year's team but alas it was not to be, I have supported the tigers when we were always in bottom 3 of the league so this year's results are not new to me , however it is frustrating when all but 2 riders have increased their average , which are James Pearson and Ace Pijper since previous green sheets. If changes are going to be made then so be it, if not lets support the team and start planning for next season, reckon we must be favourite for the wooden spoon which will please many as they think we flash the cash, which if you ask any of the riders they certainly don't.

Well done Comets, great meeting and my number 1did a captain's job to win the meeting, good to see Conner having some good races too, Tate Zische is a delight to watch and will go far, Comets fans are lucky to be able to watch him every home meeting, we had that delight with Basso last season, Comets are my second team this season, was Berwick last season but you have my fave.
