Guests to cover for Ulrich are limited, Howarth already guesting at Newcastle, only other options are T Jorgensen or T Arnio, who doubtfully would replicate Ulli 's points, will probably be r/r but our inconsistent riders would need to be on it , and Cammy would need to change the riding order to maximise our possible points scoring. -

Coming down for this, will be my first visit to Plymouth, hoping for a good meeting and of course a Tigers win, that is if we don't throw it away again

Seems to be a change in forecast, now strong chance of rain, however drainage at Ashfield is excellent so hopefully racing will be good -

Weather forecast is for hot and sunny -
Connor has no intention of riding for Australia, has always said he would ride for GB if good enough, the family have moved here for good, only went back for his sister's wedding and got stuck over there due to Covid

Connor Bailey is back in the country, he is a 3* rising star

Could be that a lot of their fans are not computer savvy and would pay on the door, I know a lot of Glasgow fans that do not do technology and are missing out

Most Glasgow fans don't actually live in Glasgow , so we can travel if not in tier 3

Kent Kings v Glasgow Tigers 8/6/21 @6.30 pm
Weeyin replied to blueherb777's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Glasgow made that difficult at first, speedy recovery to Jack Smith and Dan Gilkes, the Tigers came good in the end, thanks to all the Kent fans who were very gracious in defeat, we apologise for using air horn but stopped when we realised it was not allowed. Tidy wee stadium, hope Kent goes on to have a consolidating season. -

You can only have a guest for your no.1 or a guest if you have 2 riders out, with 1 guest and 1 R/R -
A good meeting , still pretty much gate and go around Shielfield, Leon Flint has really stepped up a gear and Dany Gappmaier really is electric there, Leicester top 3 are something else and good job for Bandits that Ty Proctor struggled, fantastic race by Jye Etheridge to hold off Kyle Howarth , lost my voice after that one. a few Glasgow fans there tonight supporting the Bandits, well done to them for getting the points. Was wonderful getting to see my first live meeting, and nothing beats the smell of methanol

Glasgow v Poole 4th June 2021. Championship.
Weeyin replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Very enjoyable meeting, would have been closer if Rory had not got injured, very impressed with Ben Cook and Craig back to his best , King of Ashfield, we always hope that he misses the gate as it is a delight watching him go from last to first. Sam Jensen has come on leaps and bounds since 2019 -

My husband went out and bought a smart tv so that I could watch it on tv, ( that was his excuse, lol, he really just wanted a bigger telly) beats watching on the phone, the first stream was of very good quality, there was one little glitch when we lost sound for about a minute. The people that were doing the stream normally do football and I think.it was their first time doing speedway, so were concentrating on who was at the front, but I am assured that it will be sorted for the next match, to be aware of all four riders -
I have my tickets as I inadvertently booked the leicester match which was postponed, so have carried them forward for the Glasgow match, which was what I originally wanted

Shocking decision by Lynn, if there is someone already waiting in the wings then, that is disgusting, did they tell him before the meeting that he is no longer required? Who would want to ride for a club that sacks someone after 2 matches and no racing for 18 months. Kings Lynn have really went down in my estimation. Hope he gets another team and scores a maximum against the stars. I have followed Glasgow for a long time, home and away, even when we were getting beat, only in last couple of years have we been near the top of the table and a lot of that is due to Craig, both on and off the track, treat him right and he will give 110%

Yes, I dont live in Glasgow, I live outside in Paisley and the other fans travelling down , don't actually live in Glasgow either, also I get tested every week and have had both jabs

It was a struggle for the Kings, very much hampered by the loss of Tom in his first heat, but you have some talented youngsters and I was impressed with young Jake. Glasgow are extremely strong at home and a few teams will struggle at Ashfield. I hope the Kings have a good consolidating season and I look forward to seeing my first live meeting when I come down with a few other Glasgow fans on June 8th
