  1. I know all the things he does and my grandson does the same and he almost committed suicide but was found before he could do it, the symptoms of adhd are not just hyperactivity, there are massive negative symptoms, you are judging Craig by what he does, and I get that is what you see, but you don't see the turmoil that causes his actions, try and be kind instead of crucifying anyone on social media
  2. That is a disgusting post, uou have no idea about mental health, I was a psychiatric nurse until I retired last year and I can assure you that a huge percentage of people with mental health problems use drink or/and drugs to deal with it , Craig has admitted to having ADHD, which my grandson also has and , they can be ok one day and head fried the next, I hope you or your family never have an issue with your mental Health, we certainly don't want another Paul Fry or Danny Ayres
  3. I agree, didn't realise the difference in temperature , was wondering why Roy was saying the weather was wonderful and We were absolutely frozen in the back straight seating area, I will remember that next time I go to Workington
  4. Dan is fine, did press and practice at Glasgow today and is on his way to Armadale for tonight's meeting
  5. Friday, I believe before they head to Armadale
  6. So first meeting for the Scottish contingent of the league, Re- introduced Scottish cup. Will be interesting to see how both teams get on, some Glasgow riders have had some races under their belt and are looking good, Sedgy has had an outing but unsure about the other Monarchs, Victor has been over here before so knows what to expect, will be interesting to see how their other newbies fare. Looking forward to going to armadale on Friday, hope the weather plays fair, forecast ok at present. As for prediction, I think it will be a reasonably close encounter but obviously hoping for a Glasgow win.
  7. He was asked by Poole, I believe but chose us, so glad he did , look forward to seeing him step up a gear at Glasgow, like Brennan did at Poole after being with us
  8. Loved those meetings back in the day
  9. Would love Glasgow to finish top, but will be a tough ask
  10. I wonder why he slumped so badly mid season? Was it bike or confidence issues?
  11. What are the averages for the riders?
  12. No he won't as Cairns is at Poole
  13. He definitely is better and has come a long way from his first season as team manager, it is not an easy job, but he is getting better tactically just needs to refine how he deals with each rider, one size does not fit all, and that part can take years of experience.
  14. Redcar declaring their team at their Christmas party on 7th December, will they be last to declare, or will we, as these are the only 2 teams that have not declared any riders
  15. Is he not rumoured for Poole? Not sure if the 2 brit rule has changed, you can't keep up with changes at times
  16. Does Workington not need 2 British riders in the team? They only have 1 at the moment with Vinnie.
  17. Never seen much track grading or watering during a meeting at Scunthorpe, other tracks tend to do a few during the meeting. I will say that racing is top quality at Scunthorpe, as it is at Workington , Redcar and Glasgow, these tracks alongside BelleVue are the best in the country
  18. Pairs before Cardiff was very well attended as was when they were at Somerset, fans that travel far like us from Glasgow always did the pairs before Cardiff, hopefully Workington will get a good crowd but will likely be fans from the North that will attend, also having the clrc the day after at Scunthorpe may affect crowd levels, which would be a shame as both are superb race tracks
  19. It is one resident who is a private tenant, all other homeowners are fine
  20. That made me laugh out loud, although IF Ashton has signed for Glasgow then I am delighted, have been following his progress since his first venture on a speedway bike and wanted him last year. He is undoubtedly talented and yes has had a difficult end of season, did appear to shut off going into the bends during play offs, however at Glasgow there was none of that, he beat bomber and that is no easy task, we need to remember that he has not long turned 17, has a lot of learning to do, and who better to learn from than Bomber, so my fingers are crossed that he will be at Glasgow. Also I do think that Oxford have chosen Killeen over Ashton recently, so maybe that is part of the reason he has changed his mind
  21. I really hope Plymouth can field a competitive team, I remember the days when we (Glasgow) struggled to get a decent team, thankfully due to our current promotion, riders now want to come to Glasgow, however I realise the rider pool is getting smaller year on year,no idea what the answer is. I would like the championship to have 2 x 2 pointers at reserve and give them at least 2 protected rides.
