Poole had the foresight to get the best two reserves , perhaps they had a hunch about the points limit & team make up early on regarding heat leader lists etc .. Its proven the leagues top teams are the ones with the best 6-7 ... Newman & Garrity although not singlehandedly had a Massive bearing on the success of these two teams since the Fast Track farce started ..

Why did the Coventry Promotion agree to this date this early into the season knowing their No1 rider would be unavailable !?

Don't take it too hard it will happen to most teams who visit , as MANY supporters predicted , but will the paying public get fed up with it after a few months ? Its sport based on entertaining the fans , lets hope there is plenty of passing & good racing to keep the turnstiles turning .

The draft was always going to be flawed ,it only benefited the Promotions who knew the rule before anybody else , a little bit like the Heat leader list & the instant squad system .

Sounds like a were in for thrilling evening of processional racing with the Bees riders try to keep up with the Pirates boys then !! Have they started queuing up yet !!

You could tell his heart wasn't in it when he rode for you last season , if his decline continues the Pirates will still win most matches with the team they have anyway .In a even weaker ELITE league I really do expect him to up his average by a point .

Why do you do this ? Is it just an attention seeking thing ? When posters in the past have upset you I asked you to ignore them ... Now its almost like your inviting them to abuse you !

Is it a rule then ? Must you sign 3 more riders ? Perhaps its not in the book until the usual's have got the riders they want & the other clubs can have the leftovers eh ?

Best team on paper .. avoiding injuries think its a cert ..What odds at the bookies ?

Your right us Mug Punters will still turn up ... Not a hope in hell of a Barry Hearn or an outsider ever having the chance to stop this terminal decline .. Lets just look forward to next month & the start of the season of the sport we love & make the most of it .

Pay the riders more than they get in other leagues & they will be here .. It really is that simple .

Think we will have to agree to disagree on this one .. Do you think Kings Lynn or Leicester would have been struggling to sign top quality riders if money was no object ? I Keep reading on many threads about what riders demands are eg Vans, Workshops , Mechanics etc . They would still demand these things whatever race night they come up with !

The only way you will get the GP riders to show up every week & commit to an Elite League season is to pay them more money than they are getting riding in other countries leagues .. Give them the cash & they will come ..

There will be two groups GROUP A - will be the ones the " it will never happen ,were doomed " negative mentality & GROUP B - Will be the ones who look on the bright side & see it as a new beginning & are full of positivity .its called human nature I think , so pick a camp & put up yer tent Bees fans ..& you know what one of them will be right !!

The money clubs will tie up the better riders in their squads & they wont be enough to go around for the teams with less financial clout .. one club will have three potential No1s in their squad while others wont get the sniff of one at all !! THREE TEAM ELITE LEAGUE IN 2017 I reckon !

Whichever team you support the time the haves outnumber the have nots its a disaster waiting to happen. The two ,possibly three clubs who have the financial clout will have a three team tournament every week !!

The only thing to do is to vote with your feet then & hope it gets better when / if changes you agree with happen .

Coventry in recent times have never been a club to stick with a non competitive side , changes are made . All of the doom mongers last season who whinged about Jamrog were soon silenced . I'm sure whoever aint doing it will be gone... BUT many " supporters " are already critical of young Kacper Woryna when they have never seen him ride or in some bizarre case never even heard of him !! Give the kid a chance eh ? You just never know .......

Perhaps DH could ask the clubs SUPPORTERS what they would like & move on from there . No point throwing a party if nobody want to come !! I spoke to a Sheffield fan of many seasons this week (at a football match) & for all of the clubs great history & brilliant riders who have graced the club over the years he said a he's quiet happy to watch Premier racing EVERY week without the politics , missing riders & all the crap that goes with the ELITE !!

Perhaps there will be a Thursday night League & a Friday night league ! Our Clubs will have to fall into one or the other to make the paymasters at Sky happy .It would be a bit strange Sky putting Speedway up against Premier League Darts on a Thursday though .
