II fail to understand why every end of season the majority of Promotions say they have lost money , so why do they continue in the same vein year on year ? Surely NOW is the time for them all to get together as a group ( haves & have not's ) & come up with a sustainable plan for ALL clubs to survive & thrive ? The guess when the Speedway is on & are they still riding question is ask by many people I work with !! Another question ..Would it be possible for a COVENTRY BEES team to ride at another track e.g Peterboro ,Leicester or Brum ?

I agree.... Grant them permission for the homes on the day the first meeting at Coventry Bees new home takes place .. I am sure Brandon Estates would be up for it . I always thought when visiting Brandon that its quiet a well to do area ( compared with where I live ) with some lovely large houses ..What do the local residents feel about a housing estate being built in their backyard ? Would the price of their properties fall ?

Could they carry it over to next season & ride it instead of a meaningless bike testing meeting ?

What if the Local council agreed to the housing as long as the provision for Stock Cars & Speedway were met at another purpose built venue paid in part by Brandon Estates ? Would it be viable ? It does seem that the Rugby Council does have a site in mind for a track to be built .

They really do think were a bunch of Mug Punters don't they ? The Emperors new clothes moment for our sport surely must be rapidly approaching ?

How can you build a team not knowing how many clubs will be competing in the league or even knowing the points limit ?

Excellent signing .. Do you think availability could become an issue though because we don't stand up for ourselves ? Poland shouts jump , our Promotions say how high or take a backhander !!

What if clubs only signed riders who made BRITISH SPEEDWAY their priority ? I agree that the " superstars " wouldn't come here & also throw into the mix ONE league thus removing all doubling up ? Wow that would be a shake up wouldn't it !! ..........We SUPPORTERS could then watch the same riders every meeting representing our Clubs without fear of being served up what's going on at Leicester tonight .

In a sport where riders don't get paid if they don't score points why would they even need to be motivated ?

Poole are not as poor as this Steve ,,What's the real story ?

... and as supporters we continue , I admit in dwindling numbers to pay to watch it ! Swindon are the most consistent team at the moment & are a joy to watch , It is a weaker league without its " Superstars " but if I was a Robins fan I don't think I would give a toss if I was being entertained week in week out !! ENJOY YOUR SPEEDWAY ..Not many are !!

Why can Poole bend the rules after last seasons cut off date, yet Belle Vue have a genuine injury and cant replace him? ... I don't think you really need three quarters of the forum to answer that for you do you ?

I agree with you Steve , Eddie will do a sound job I reckon . I had to smile thought , remember all the sh*t you & your fellow Pirates fans gave them Bees supporters when he was done for a slight indiscretion !!! .. Only in our sport eh .....

Which ever rider comes in he wont come cheap , they will know a tiny bit of desperation has crept it . To tempt a TOP RIDER will cost a packet , perhaps Matt will write the season off ? . I feel our sport seems a little flat at the moment & is in need of a bit of a boost ..a BIG name could provide that !

Good Afternoon Neil , as you are on the forum any update on Brandon Stadium or Coventry Bees ?

Because Steve nobody gives much of a toss anymore do they ? Over the season all clubs might break the rules but the back scratching that goes on promoters will turn a blind eye knowing that " I did it for you & now you return the favour " Its only when a supporter notices what has gone on & mentions it , that it gets flagged up !! .....

The Stox meetings that should have been at Brandon will be moved to other tracks I am led to believe ...So how will Mr Sandhu be able to look the punters in the eye who were Coventry regulars ??
