What I don't understand if Brandon Estates wish to build on Brandon why they are not working with the RELEVANT parties ie Save Coventry Speedway & Rugby Council to meet their ends . Allow Speedway & Stox to continue until a suitable site it found .When the NEW Stadium opens the Council hands over the land to them . Surely Goodwill would go along way ??

You don't actually think they write the rules down do you ? Our sport has been run for many seasons now by the Back Scratchers Rules .. If we let you do this , we will allow you to do that ! ................Some Promoters just have to hope they done upset anyone & get refused !

When will Coventry know if they have been accepted into the League ? Many of the established clubs are already signing up riders .

Simple question if it was viable & a money maker don't you think the combined Promotions of Leicester / Sheffield would have decided to run a National League team themselves ?

So you are not against the travelling its the Promotion ? Who do you & others think Horton is working with & why ?

I suggested that yesterday & with you adding the Lions riders to what I thought , it must an attractive proposition to some promotions ? ..The BSPA must surely want a club as big as Coventry to be in the higher divisions ?

Just read OFFICIAL press release on BSPA website .. National League - Sunday afternoons .

I agree , the Bees fans reportedly never turned out in numbers for National League fixtures ( I went once James Wright 18pt max Flawless ) So I would expect the AGM to place Coventry in the higher division ?

Surely savvy Promotions would move heaven & earth to get Coventry back into the higher divisions ? They always have had an excellent away following . ..

If the Lions ride on the new race night in the PREMIER to keep the Bees alive they could enter a team into the Championship & race on Saturdays perhaps ?

Why would the club care what the fans think ? This is Speedway !! Look what the Coventry riders had to wear on their race suits ! There cant be a Bees fan out there hand on heart could say that was ever a BEE !!

I agree with 100% , I was talking to a bloke at football yesterday a Lions supporter & if the midweek race nights are bought in he will not take his 3 school age children on a school night with the risk of them not getting to bed by 10-30 .

Well Done the Lions Promotion , lets hope his signing is the first of many Top Riders coming to these shores next season . I bet there is not one club who wouldn't have wanted him .. Excellent !!

Well some clubs were signing riders for 2018 back in June so I suppose it was all done & dusted back then .
