  1. josh had a race win in heat 1 then had to retire the bike because it was smoking bad .Bike no2 was a moped so theres your answer wilco and holub had engines that were far too strong for our track and I'm sure all 3 will address there problems for next week
  2. simple really its the only way to bring new riders and we bring them in on the assessed average wether its right or not ,They always drop in the first couple of months due to the competiveness of the premier league and how long a rider adapts to it .we are now fortunate that we can use this to our advantage for a change
  3. you must know that you eveything else yours thankfully Mr Godfrey
  4. i have had nothing removed and wouldnt want to but if you persist in using the word corrupt in todays social media be prepared for the consciences.I have been nothing but honest and you ought to look at your own team make up to see that the rule book was twisted a bit in the interests of british speedway to allow a young british rider to gain exsperiance at premier level so less of the insults as i dont know why i bother
  5. the wildcards were done the fairest way on the riders that just missed out ,the word wildcard should be removed ,the reserves for the gp were decided by bsi we had nothing to do with that ,the kurtz average was before my time and the mpt average was a presedence set a few years earlier when we encouraged pl riders to move up to the el and if it didnt work out we would protect there pl ave for a year.Ryan fisher used this rule to re enter the pl if i remember so mpt was entitled to do the same
  6. i would be carefull what you say, corruption is a very serious allegation and for the record i am not corrupt and never will be .It is quite simple there is a rule that was agreed at AGM by all the premier promoters that any rider with an EL average over 6 at the start of the season could not double up ,everyone agreed as this would protect the elete league from riders riding there average down to gain entry to the premier league and for the premier league would stop the gap getting even smaller to the elete league .so there you are over to you so no conspiracy just common sence and an agreement from eveyone no vote there never was dont know where that has come from but its not true because the rule was there so no debate needed
  7. Well Mr Butt you must have memory loss as the last time I looked we have never been as bad as the quibell park days as you put it quite the opposite apart from this year which nothing will go right we over the last ten years have been less than an embarresement. Right at this minute I hate speedway and comments like yours make me wonder why I try to keep it going especialy the one about I wonder how many peopple will turn up next time. Well its your perogative not to turn up but please don't insight others intoyour opinions as it is well documented that this could be our last year and comments like that are damanging to people who love speedway win or loose. As to the crap guest isn't hindsight a wonderfull thing ,for the record I would pick Thomas Jorgensen every time over anyone else and once again find your comments insulting. Maybe what you should have come on here and said was something like "bloody hell what happenened there Thomas wasn't at his best he must have had a problem and chin up lads when josh and ryan are back we will be back on it and when we will go back to newcastle we will make amends, but no you chose to post your crap anyway you enjoy your sleep as I wont.
  8. no excuses we all met at burger king had our double whopper and chips, marhmellows, icecream and had our team talk .I gave them the option of sitting in there vans with thier computer and then they could take the piss out of all the teams riding tonight or they could go to newcastle and try to get into the next round of the KO cup. They chose the latter, with hindsight they should have taken the first option.over to you
  9. so as there is no more confusion this is what happened. Three weeks ago Glasgow asked for David Howes number and I gladly gave them it . More recently they asked me again for it and that coincided with David writing on twiter decisions, decicions, desicions. So putting it together with the request from Glasgow for his number again I text David and told him to go for it and he replied that he didnt think his shoulder was up to it. Not believing that David would ride I thought nothing about it until last Thursday when I recieved a text saying that glasgow had done a deal with David. I immediatly contacted Glasgow to inform them that I did not want David riding against us on Friday as it could be damaging for Scunthorpe Speedway and it was my right to protect Scunthorpe. It was agreed to not use David and sort out another matter. On Tuesday as I was at MC the 1 to 7 was tabled for approval I realised that as James Sarjents average was effective on the Friday there could be no way to not let David ride as then Glasgow would lose the point they had gained before James Sarjents average went up so being as fair as I could I agreed to let David ride and in turn that would protect Glasgows average but asked in return for Glasgow not to use a guest for James just use r/r as if David had not ridden it would be r/r for Kozza Smith but this decision was reffered to the boss to which I never got a reply. I acted in good faith but felt Glasgow did not repay that courtesy.
  10. the only embarresement is the way you troll around making comments on things you dont know about
  11. what load of crap its easy to sit there and make stupid comments like that when you don't know position is with rider fitness and availability, Richard head
  12. actualy he wasnt whinging he was actually saying it was the best track he had ridden on this year and wished he could ride here every week ,the shrugging of the shoulders was when i told him what i would pay him, it always provokes that reaction
  13. That's absolutely true everything you say but it was a two way street and sometimes you could contradict a contradiction with a contradiction that's why sometimes we got it wrong no excuse but it did happen .All I can say is from this point on it is black and white with a shade of grey
  14. from our side it is .Things have moved on with the UKVI and we have a good relationship and a good understanding of their issues and they have a good understanding of ours to the point where we are in negotiation's for new criteria that both sides can work with hence the black and white bit. Obviously there is only so much we can tell the fans at the moment but as things stand we are in a better position that we were in 3 month ago .Whilst I can't comment on individual cases if you have a question ask me simples
  15. first of all you are making matters worse by spouting untruths about individual riders and the clubs that are supporting them, .Instead of this crusade if you actually asked someone that knew the truth and stopped pretending then you see how silly you look .If anyone wants to know just ask there is no conspiracy here its black and white
