Not true. MF spoke initially to Madsen and Zorro before offering and agreeing terms with KK, who was then told that he couldn't sign by his Polish lords and masters!! Incidentally, who would MF have to speak to, to get permission for Shamek? He is surely not an asset of the current Coventry promotion, so did BSPA acquire all the previous Bees assets?!

Without wishing to repeat the point - there are 2 reasons why Darcy turned down the SGP invite this year, the main one being money!! He needs to build up a decent bank balance (as all other SGP riders do) in order to afford to compete consistently in the series. Will Darcy be a future World |Champion? Absolutely!!

If one of them is secretly related to Geronimo, I can guess which one!!!!

So if Greg Hancock manages to retain his World Championship, he can say that he beat Jason Bunyan!!! I'll give Gary Allan a call!

So, one week further on and Matt Ford seems to be ruling Vaculik out of Poole's plans (having previousl hinted heavily that he was to be the first signing for 2012) as he expects him to take up one of the SGP places. This will mean him being on a reassessed 8 points!!

Ward, Pedersen, Lindgren and Harris announced as GP wildcards.

Interesting article in today's Sun newspaper, suggesting that Bomber's GP bikes may have been 'tampered with' sometime between official track practice and the actual Grand Prix in Torun. Bomber is not confirming the suggestion other than saying "the bikes were very fast in practice, but when we came back they were very slow!!!" I know there has been some 'goings on, with Bomber's back room team, but can we suspect sabotage?????

Darcy's equipment was tested at Monmore - it was stated on Sky that in all future meetings, 2 riders from each side will be selected at random (by drawing lots) to have their equipment tested. Can't remember who the others were. Woffy and Gafurov I think + 1 other. A number of riders are now calling for all silencers to be checked before every meeting, rather than just 2 at random. Good call, I feel.

As this rumbles on and on, I'm pleased that Davey Watt has called for complete transparancy over this issue, with every club ensuring that a system is in place for every silencer to be tested at every meeting!

Not sure if this has been raised before, but isn't one of Eddie's relations in his pit crew (his father??!)

or E. As I have been working very closely with the riders on their set-ups, I have to be very careful what I say and ensure that it is inline with the statement written for Eddie!!

From both the Bees statement and Eddie's (whoever compiled it for him?!), there seems no doubt that Eddie is carrying the can and taking responsibility for any punishment - whether he, or anyone else, knew about the tampering or not!! It does seem as though the authorities are trying to do something to catch any other culprits, by testing 2 silencers from each team, at random, before each match. As far as bridger's comments are concerned - the current 'bad blood' between the 2 of them is probably behind the remarks. I do agree with others that the sport should at least attempt to stop riders using social networks to bring the sport (riders, clubs, managers etc) into disrepute - a bit like Man Utd and Newcastle in particular, are doing in football.

.....and lets not be fooled into thinking that Kennett, or Kennett's mechanics are the only ones trying to find an advantage with their machines!!

I just can't believe all the people on here who think the official Bees Statement is a good one!!?? What about support for your captain, subject to further investigation of the charges. I cannot believe that the management did not know of this possibility!! Whatever the final outcome, I hope Eddie is not hung out to dry by the sports management or his promotion!!

Just watched the re=run on Sky and cannot believe some of Tatum's comments especially over the incidents in the final. The camera shots were perfectly clear yet he still argued the opposite - and disagreed with nigel as well! I think the crowd demonstrated their feelings on it all by the reception they gave Pedersen when he was re-introduced!!! Well done to Herbie, a deserved win. What I found interesting was his 'body language' at the podium where he didn't seem comfortable with sharing Pedersen's version of events in the re-run of the final - rather thanking Holder for allowing him to stay on!! Good meeting except for gate 1.

Likewise, would like some info on these. Poole will be missing Darcy Ward, Davey Watt and Christian Hefenbrock from Monday's meeting (13/06) at Belle Vue, (also on Sky), due to the qualifier in germany. Not sure who else is affected?

Easy win for Darcy in that one. Was there any crowd there, or isn't speedway as popular over there?
