  3. Thank you, the young rider I help in Aussie was suppose to go but as the meeting got moved from place to place it became to much of a head spin to organise gear.
  4. Would any1 have any info on this meeting? I know it's in Poland this weekend but as I don't have Facebook I can't find a thing about it? Cheers Duane.
  5. Over here in convict country, it's starts at 3am & goes till 6am. Fingers crossed anyway.
  6. Dave Parker: Same here in Aussie Nick, the 3 main bike tracks have Airfences, but there are so many car/bike tracks around Australia, it would be impossible to have all tracks use Airfences. Also and not for one moment say it doesn't happen, but Sidecars are as big or bigger in Australia than Solo's and they "normally" don't spear off into the fence. If we banned all tracks that didn't have an Airfence, we would have 3 tracks in Australia which is about 4 times the size of Europe. That would crucify Speedway in Australia Dave Parker is the promoter/president of the Gillman speedway track in adelaide. It is 1 of only 3 tracks with air fences. Most of the tracks in Aussie are run by dirt bike clubs, speedway just gets the odd club day here & there. I don't think that any of the clubs would like to buy a fence that only gets used half a dozen times a year. A lot of our tracks only have a timber fence at 1 end as we have 2/3 tracks built on the 1 track. Google North Brisbane motorcycle club & you will see what I mean. Even my local track in Ayr, North Queensland only has a fence at 1 end. Turns 1&2 runs out onto another track. Sorry for the long post. Cheers duane.
  7. I guess us Aussie's will be up at 3 am, like bloody usual.... Up the Aussie's....

  9. I know, but I think he is in fine form & if we don't pick him, which I don't think they will, ride for u guys, I'm mean u need all the help u can get.
  10. Couldn't find a horse & cart then white knight? ✌️
  11. Queensland youngster wins Aussie junior solo speedway title SATURDAY, 29 DECEMBER 2012 04:08 A 12 year old solo speedway rider from Townsville has won the Australian Solo Speedway championships at Mildura’s Olympic Park circuit on Saturday night. Brody Eves, who finished on 14 points after the heats and was first into the final took the title after local rider Cooper Riordan had led for one and half laps before his bike chain broke and he retired to the infield. Eves beat Bryce Brigden of Brisbane with New South Wales rider Ben Cooke of Cowra in third place. Brigden won his way into the A Final by winning the B final after he and Jordon Stewart of Mildura had finished with 10 points after the heats. A countback put Jake Mitchell of South Australia and Mildura’s Jaimon Lidsey into the B final ahead of the unlucky Jack Norman of South Australia. Mildura’s Declan Adams began in a blaze of glory by winning his first two heats but in going for an inside line he retired in field in his third heat. Then he was excluded twice in his last two heats for going inside the markers which meant with six points he did not make the B Final. Result: Australian junior solo motorbike Speedway championship: Brody Eves (Townsville, Qld) 1; Bryce Brigden (Brisbane, Qld) 2; Ben Cooke (Cowra, NSW) 3. Cooper Riordan (Mildura, Victoria) 4; Jaimon Lidsey (Mildura, Victoria) 5, Jake Mitchell (South Australia) 6; Jordon Stewart (Mildura, Victoria) 7, Jack Norman (South Australia) 8; Declan Adams (Mildura, Victoria) 9; Mathew Gilmore (NSW) 10; Sheldon Gill (West Australia) 11; Boyd Hollis (NSW) 12; Mathew Marson (West Australia) 13; Lawson Walters (NSW) 14; Brandon Coglan (Queensland) 15; Jackson Barbary (Mildura, Victoria) 16.
