good choice in my opinion....i like steady, brilliant rider but reading isn't his sort of track and considering how well louis has done at reading it makes sense to include him.

If scott is going into a bend then he will look across to see where the rider is surely.........there was nothing wrong with scotts move, he just shoved hans out fairly. In my opinion hans was totally out of order with his move.

yes that is a good point.....it's more of a stab at these girls who wont have anything said about a rider becuase of their looks. They could fence anybody, be a poor rider yet they are still the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Sophie or the start line girls do not ride speedway bikes though. Sophie is hot but i'm the first to say how poor an interviewer she is

Exactly! but half of these brits come swedes/danes only ''support'' them because they fancy a rider, its pathetic. I don't really have a problem with people who admire the riding of these teams but half the time they support teams on looks and thats why these people's opinions count for nothing. I mean how can anyone say scott was out of order after what hans did to him.

I agree with that. To be honest i thought the atmosphere was alive and well in 2005 the same as it was in any other year!. Fair enough you generally do get a better standard of racing at normal tracks but to drop cardiff from the gp would be a mistake.

The criticism of scotty nicholls is undeserved. He never seems to get much luck on the big occasion, tries his hardest and he will start getting results soon. As for nicki i cant beleive there are people sticking up for him. It was disgraceful and how long before somebody gets seriously injured. Thing is he doesnt care, you could tell from his cheesy grin at the end. People are saying there was a gap and everything but lets face it if bjarne wasnt there then nicki would have went straight into he fence so there was no passing oportunity. Look again at how far he was behind and bjarne did not slow down. Nicki was just totally out of control as he ALWAYS is. Tony was brilliant and felt sorry for him after the terminator had stopped any chance of him taking his second gp. However what a ride by crump in the final. Its always brilliant to watch riders like crump and tony at the top of thier game....roll on round 3

Unfortunately our great sport will always be minority as speedway usually relies on something else to get a home. For example at monmore, ladbrokes own the stadium not wolverhampton speedway, although we have a very good relationhip with ladbrookes touch wood. Many others are like this.....the recent trouble with oxford is an example. Also something which needs to be wiped out is the view that speedway is just 'first out the tapes win' and 'just four riders going around in a circle' To go forward speedway needs to be marketed more and better and decent tracks that provide entertainment need to be prepared
